25.01.2022 On Thursday here at KidCare we had the opportunity to celebrate Hanamatsuri (the festival of flowers) In Japan they celebrate this particular day to commemorate the celebration of many Buddhist temples in Japan. We all had so much celebrating and learning all about this special day!

21.01.2022 Today we welcome Soccajoeys back for the term with Coach Arky. We were practicing our toe tapping skills, dribbling skills and airplane stops and at the end we got to shoot goals.

20.01.2022 Today we celebrated Holi (the festival of colour) we encouraged that all educators and children to come dressed in their traditional outfits.

19.01.2022 The children at KidCare had the opportunity to celebrate Anzac and learning all about why we celebrate Anzac Day!!! We were lucky enough that two of parents brought in there hats from being in the defence force and we are so proud and honoured to be share this day with our families and children.

16.01.2022 This week at KidCare we have been focusing on National Nutrition Week!! The children have been discussion regarding what’s a sometimes food and what’s healthy food in saying they have done a bingo game and recognising the differences between the foods. It’s been so much fun with all the activities that our amazing educators have planned.

14.01.2022 Today here at KidCare we celebrated International Happiness Day with the children. This gave us the opportunity to teach the children all about why we need to be kind, keep calm and stay wise. In the Kookaburras room we asked the children to draw pictures of how they are feeling. The Possums and Koalas painted yellow paper plates and stuck smiling faces on them and we were showing them all about being kind to our friends.

13.01.2022 Today we celebrated earth day. This year theme is restore our earth. Here at kidcare in the Koalas room created our own earth using paper plates, and in our possum room they created their own flower pot using a hand prints and recycled straws. In the Kookaburras room they used their own interpretation of creating planet earth

12.01.2022 Today we celebrated our Easter hat parade and we got a visit from the Easter Bunny All got a gift from the Easter bunny We would like to wish all our families a happy Easter and safe long weekend

10.01.2022 Today we had the opportunity to celebrate international day of Forest!! We had some great discussion with the children about how on this day it represents the restoration and sustainable management of forest help address the climate change. The possums cut out a tree using recycled boxes and the Kookaburras used recycled materials to make their own trees. The Koalas design their forest

08.01.2022 This week we had a visit from Steps vision where all the children from 4yrs and up are able to get a free eye test! We are so proud of the children with amazing job they did.

08.01.2022 We were excited to welcome Little Bloomers Basketball this term and Coach Hannah. This week Coach Hannah was teaching us to throw the ball up in the air and follow by catching it, further extending on our hand and eye coordinations. We also practice our dribbling and shooting goals.

08.01.2022 Today we got the honour to do a gender reveal for Miss Sarru!!! It’s a Girl We are so happy for you xxx

07.01.2022 Over the last two weeks here at KidCare we have been focusing on nature play week Within this time have been having so fun with using play dough and natural materials, making collages, planting new plants in our herb garden !! The best part was when our Kookaburras found a caterpillar in the garden which went onto further discussion about the life cycle of caterpillars.

05.01.2022 We can’t wait for next week for our Nature play week to start!!! The educators are planning a lot of exciting learning experiences for the children

02.01.2022 We had the opportunity to celebrate Songkran festival (Thai New Year). We had amazing time making fans using paper plates and doing firework painting using paper towel rolls. We all went into discussion of the meaning of this most important festival and learning about how it’s the oldest festival for Thai.

01.01.2022 Today we encouraged that all the children and educators all dressed in purple in showing our support towards Epilepsy!!!
