06.01.2022 I havent posted on my real estate page for a while so I thought Id bring you up to date with my business. Yes, I am still doing real estate and property management, but only by referral at the moment. I am changing the main direction of my business so am currently studying to get an advocacy qualification under my belt. Its rigorous and time consuming, but I am loving every minute of it. Over the past 7 years I have come across a number of people, both women and men, who... have been placed in a difficult situation, either by the death of a spouse or loved one, abandonment or nursing a suddenly-dependent partner. Life becomes overwhelming and even the simplest of daily tasks become challenging. One person is left to deal with not only every day, but the future as well. The loss of a partner, however it occurs, can leave a person floundering and not knowing how to move forward. I have seen these people be taken advantage of and pushed into a solution that is not ideal for them - usually selling their property. My goal is to create a service, not a business, to help people like this, to sit and listen to them, not railroad them into a property sale because that is going to benefit me....and probably NOT them. So stay tuned. This service will be very practically priced and extremely transparent. It will focus on what is the best solution for the individual, and that could well be staying in their own home. I hope to be the voice for these people and make their lives liveable.
