16.01.2022 Ms Connie and Ms Jihong found a baby bird tucked away in the outdoor corner of the deck. Ms Connie with the help of the children created a safe home for it using the red tray and some shredded paper. As the children started arriving at kindy, it created many conversation about what happened to the baby bird and how we were going to help it. We phone the Sydney Wildlife Rescue who advises us to take the baby bird to the closet vet, who would give it the necessary care until they could get there to take him to their rescue shelter. We would like to thank Greencross Vet at Five Dock and Sydney Wildlife for their contribution to helping the baby pigeon Penny.

10.01.2022 Today at Kiddies Kapers, the children helped to make their lunch. They put lots of healthy toppings on their pizzas and really enjoyed eating them at lunch! Way to go our little Masterchef’s!

We would like to extend a speacial thankyou to Jigessha one of our lovely mum’s who shared the Holi tradition of paint throwing, for making us delicious homemade Dosa and for dressing up in her beautiful Sari! What a magnificent day!

04.01.2022 Sustainability is embedded in our daily program. We harvested broccoli for our veggie patch. The children used the broccoli for inspiration for their art and craft and our chef created a cheesy broccoli bake, which was enjoyed by all. Did you know broccoli contains more vitamin C than oranges! What a healthy choice to ward off the winter flu!
