23.01.2022 Admin Approved DONT JUST UNENROL YOUR CHILDREN FROM THEIR EARLY EDUCATION AND CARE CENTRES PLEASE !!!! There is so much uncertainty in the world at the moment a...nd so many people are losing their jobs, please dont add your childs educators to that list. I am NOT saying you should send them if you dont feel comfortable. What I am saying is DONT UNENROL THEM. Talk to your centre first. There are a number of things in place from the government to help families and to stop centres from going bankrupt but these measures are only helpful if the children STAY ENROLLED. Firstly, if you or your partner has lost their job or had your wages cut, you can go on to your mygov page and apply for temporary financial hardship. This means that the government will pay your childcare fees in FULL for 13 weeks. The government has also committed to paying the CCS portion of the fees in the event that the centres do go in to lock down. What this means for centres is that we can keep paying our educators, our rent, etc etc etc. It means that at the end of all of this, there will be centres to send your children to. I implore you, please speak to your centre director and Family Day Care Educator. Find out your options, BEFORE just pulling your children out. It will make the world of difference to our sector. To all my friends, can you please share this as much as possible

16.01.2022 For the past few weeks the children in the emerald and sapphire room have been excited about the human body. Children have enjoyed singing songs about the human body, drawing the human body and learning about healthy and unhealthy food. Particularly, children have been interested in the digestive system and can recite how the food moves through the human body (mouth > stomach > small intestines > large intestines). They are showing an interest in science and in their health and physical wellbeing.

16.01.2022 With some of our children visiting zoos and Australian parks recently, they have been showing lots of interest in Australian animals. Today we were treated to a puppet show by the Kinder children, telling stories about wombats, echidnas and cockatoos. We also listened to the story of Tiddalik, the frog with an unquenchable thirst

07.01.2022 Hi families... this information below may be helpful.. please take some time to read..

06.01.2022 Olivia and Jacinta came up with idea of making a scarecrow to scare away the birds from eating our plants and our flowers. Olivia and Jacinta told me that the scarecrow needed lots of eyes and clothes to be scary. Olivia and Jacinta brainstormed the material we needed to make the scarecrow and thought of ways that we could make it stand up. They used a lot of their problem solving skills to figure this out. They realised that we needed a big stick so it wouldnt wobble or break in the rain. After this they decorated the scarecrow and let it dry over the weekend. Today it was finally ready.

06.01.2022 The KP restaurant So if we cant go to the restaurant, let the restaurant come to us! Chef JoJo and Waitress Sandra served up a delicious 2 course lunch today, for us to enjoy.

06.01.2022 Welcome back week! To say we’ve missed you all is an understatement, your presence, your voices and your laughter is the heart of Kiddy Palace. To celebrate the return of our children, we finished welcome week with a trip to the park, a picnic, some pizza and a dance party outside. Through difficult circumstances we learn to truly appreciate what most matters to us, the children

06.01.2022 Earlier this week the children the children practice drawing objects from nature such as a variety of different leaves. The children were comparing the different colours and sizes of the leaves and asked lots of questions about why leaves fall and why they look so different. Have a look at all the beautiful drawing that the children did.
