14.01.2022 Dear Families, I am writing to let you know that our Centre over the next month will be rolling out a new online system called QK office. WHAT IS HAPPENING?... We are moving to an online platform and booking system which will replace our current sign in / out functionality. It will be a similar system to the kiosk that is utilised in the Reception/Foyer allowing you to sign in and out your children contactless with a QR Code scanner from your phone, or using a phone number and PIN code. Families will have online access as well as access through an app for the day to day care of their children, bookings, billing and so much more! We are seeking to improve our communication with families as well as family involvement within the service to ensure we are maintaining strengthened relationships. HOW WILL THIS HAPPEN? 1. You are invited via the link below to set up your account for the Digital Attendance system. Please click on this link and create your account and choose a password. 2. Once you have set up your account online, please download the parent app called ‘Xplor Home’ and log in. This will allow you to sign in your child with the QR Code scanner once the setup has been completed. 3. If you prefer to sign in and out with your mobile and pin, create an Xplor ID from the account sign up link below. I encourage you to read the Quick Start Guide as well which can be emailed through on request. PLease let me know if you need this emailed. I realise this is a big change but it is one we are undertaking to help us provide a better experience for our families. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out and i will be more than happy to assist. Please copy and paste the link below into your web browser to create your new account. https://prodadmin.myxplor.com//cent/nKwdvxpSYjADVTwjvPeBAw If you need this emailed please let me know. Kind regards Bree

07.01.2022 Hi Families Following the recent announcements in relation to COVID-19...... We would like to encourage families to have discussions with their children about the changes that are occurring around them. It would be difficult for them to understand that they are restricted in their normal activities that they had only just begun to reattend. The educators will be doing the same for your children at care. ... There will be experiences provided to the children for them to develop knowledge of why this is all occurring, and will be done so in a sensitive manner, where they can explore and manipulate resources while engaging in learning opportunities at their own pace. We are offering care to essential workers only from tomorrow until further notice. We apologise for the short notice, but given the circumstances of the announcement this afternoon, hope you can understand. We will require all essential workers to provide an official confirmation of employment letter so we can ensure that we are complying with the new restrictions. These can be emailed or handed to us in person prior to your child's next attendance. If you are able to keep your children home please do so. We would like to support social distancing and reduce the risk of illnesses spreading. There will be no charge for the families who are required to stay home so please email me at [email protected] to notify me of your child's absence. All families will be required to drop off and collect their children from the front foyer and staff will collect the children to take them into the centre. Please make sure you are wearing a mask as it is a requirement to be outside of your home. We will be temperature checking the children upon arrival and if they have any cold or flu like symptoms, they will need to return home. All children who develop cold or flu like symptoms or appear unwell will need to be collected and if we are unable to get in contact with the primary carers, we will be requesting the emergency collection contacts to collect the children on your behalf. Please help us keep the community safe! Additional precautions will be taken for cleaning and hygiene and staff will be following the minimum social distance requirements as well as wearing a mask to work. We understand the difficulties that are arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and appreciate your understanding and support through this challenging time. If you have any queries or concerns then please feel free to contact me at any time. Stay safe and take care. Bree

01.01.2022 Staff will be wearing pyjamas to work tomorrow. Please feel free to send your children in p.j's too. We need a day where we can relax a little so we will be having bacon and eggs with the children in our pyjamas.
