23.01.2022 This might be one of the craziest games of noughts and crosses we have ever seen. The St. Andrew’s Kidfit crew always bring the energy [um, maybe a little too much sometimes...]

22.01.2022 We love incorporating these courses into our training. They’re a heap of fun while also challenging the kids and helping them develop a wide variety of skills.

21.01.2022 Get low and go

21.01.2022 Something fun to try at home. Lay on your back, throw a ball up in the air, stand up and try to catch the ball while you’re on your feet. You can only catch the ball once you are completely on your feet! No cheating! Let us know how you go with it. Thanks for the idea @perspectivetraining!

17.01.2022 We’re always setting new challenges for our Kidfit athletes in each session. This challenge was to walk through the varying heights in hurdles while holding a weighted plate overhead, which develops their body awareness as well as their core and shoulder stability.

16.01.2022 Our holiday camps are back! They'll be running for three days over the 7th, 8th and 9th of April at Noosa Springs. These camps are the perfect opportunity to keep your Kidfit athlete active over the school break while giving them the space to engage with their peers in a fun and exciting environment. We'll be working on the development of a multitude of physical skills throughout each session from athleticism to speed, coordination to strength but our main focus is always fun. Don't miss out on our popular holiday training camps over the Easter break! Send us an email today to organise enrolments. [email protected]

15.01.2022 Weights can be an amazing tool when used appropriately. Here Heidi has a 5kg plate she is holding over her head while walking through a course of hurdles at various heights and positions. Great for developing upper body strength, core stability and body awareness. Well done Heidi

13.01.2022 Archie working on his change of direction, speed and anaerobic capacity with the BlazePods. These are such a great tool for tracking progress over time and, bonus: they keep the kids engaged and excited. Win/win!

12.01.2022 Holiday camp fun check out our previous post for more information on our upcoming Easter holiday camp.

11.01.2022 Harper just casually sending the med ball to space

05.01.2022 Look at Harry go! A little legend Our Kidfit athletes are loving the BlazePods, can you tell?

02.01.2022 Building strength in kids is an extremely important aspect of their physical and athletic development. Some of our golden rules when it comes to strength training for kids are: 1. Keep it fun. 2. Focus on quality [technique] over quantity [weight/reps]. 3. Teach them how to control their own body weight. ... 4. When the kids are ready, you can easily scale the exercise with appropriate exercise regressions and progressions depending on their ability level. 5. Again: Keep. It. Fun! See more

02.01.2022 Our holiday camps are being run at Outside The Box Gym in Noosa Springs on the 7th, 8th and 9th of April. Send an email to [email protected] to secure your Kidfit athlete’s spot!
