25.01.2022 Term 1 Week 2 '20 The week was filled with laughter, and uplifting words! Since we are working on a 'Green Fingers Project', Maddie opted to plant a mini vegetable garden that contains strawberries, cucumbers, tomato's and carrots ... The kids loved getting dirty and Alexandra even made her own mud-cakes! Grace requested 'unicorn crafts', so that is exactly what we did! They were thrilled and they have spend hours making their unicorn perfect, they were so impressed with the...ir unicorns I had to the same for their hair ... So we got creative and platted in some 'unicorn hair' :) For Valentines day we made the cutest little 'love bug' cards for mums and dads along with a beautifully decorated donut! Kai and Rhys has spend nearly a whole week building a really cool lego city! It has been a busy and fun week!!

19.01.2022 I cant believe School Holidays is finished already!! We had sO much fun! Here are some more photo's, just in case you missed it

19.01.2022 Term 1 Week 1 - 2020 It has been a fun-packed week! Rhys reguested to make a lemon meringue pie ... he got busy in the kitchen being the master chef while the rest of us did some owl crafts ... The meringue pie was delicious and we were all very pleased to have a little bit of dessert Aeriss requested to make owl crafts, the girls loved the craft session and it turned out sO cute! We learned about different kinds of owl species and their habitats ...... Alexandra and Neelambari took on the 'gym-dice' challenge on friday ... it was full of laughter and strange groan noises ... Kai requested to make a chocolate cake ... so that is exactly what we did! wWe made the quickest, easiest and most delicious no-bake chocolate cake!! It turned out perfect! So we had chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream for late afternoon dessert on Friday We also got a playstation for the center, the boys love the racing car games... Brandon cannot stop laughing at the constant crashes ... It is the funniest thing ever Jaydon and Alexandra requested a 'water-day' on their first day back at school ... I reluctantly agreed and they all loved it!! Often the unexpected choices are the best fun!!

18.01.2022 Today's excursion... Zootopia! It was an awesome day!!

11.01.2022 Craft Explosion! Today we made Aboriginal clap-sticks, boomerangs, scary hanging bats, aboriginal mosiac flags, hamma beads and abstract painting ... We also got physical at the basketball court, nice and sweaty ;) Later the afternoon we sharpened our minds with word searches, math challenges and fun activity sheets. Some of the older kids got their 'game-on' with the 'you have been framed' board game, the competitiveness is real! Aaand Seth has made the BEST shepherds pie, kids loved it!! It has been a very messy day, full of creativity and exercise

11.01.2022 What an awesome day it was! It was our chance to show off our entrepreneural skills! We startes the day with a cool and fun 'business photo shoot' ... Needless to say, they LOVED it! After the photo shoot we started making our products and learned about expenditures and profits ...We made veggiemite and cheese scrolls, mango ice cream sandwiches, red velvet cupcakes and choc chip cookies. On the craft side of things we sold very useful reward charts, book markers, keyrings ...and beautiful succulents! The kids decided to put the money to good use and give it to other children in need, I am so proud of them! Thank you to every parent who came to support us today, you are amazing! Not much was left from all our baking, the kids are sO proud of themselves! A special thanks to Seth Green for his delicious recipes and incredibly hard work!! Last but not least, thank you Amelia for our surprise this morning, you are valued!

11.01.2022 A beautiful day spent at Hyde Park Playground, it is perfect for a family day out! Faces filled with joy! We also got active on the basketball courts doing running races, and all kinds of funny challenges ;)

09.01.2022 It was yet another awesome day at Kids Active Lakeside! Emily Barrick came to share her wealth of knowledge and experience ... We had a look at animal x-rays and what they swollowed, everything from spoons to fish-hooks ... We learned about dog behaviour and how to listen to our pets and we got to wrap pur animals in special badages ;) We learned how to get dressed as a surgeon and how to listen for a healthy heartbeat! Once we have finished, we went outside to collect specimens that we could explore! Later the day we learned about Australian wildlife the boys went on a mission to find spiders. We also made messy ooblec, played soccer, made bead necklaces, designed a race track and played boardgames! Thank you so much Emily for teaching us all about animal care, you are amazing!

08.01.2022 What did we do today...? Well.. We made delicious potato pockets filled with creamy chicken and grilled cheese, Jaydon and Declan made THE BEST apple pie filling for dessert, we made applie pie, we made the coolest aprons, we designed our own placemats, we learned about the effects of sugar in our bodies and we we got active on the basketball courts ...

02.01.2022 Today was all about about nature and how important it is to look after it! We planted some beautiful flowers, we mad chocolate soil desserts, we learned about the importance of trees and what we can do to help, we also watched some bug wars, practised ballerina dancing and opened a gelato stand ;)
