25.01.2022 A wonderful week at Kids Connection. During the week the children enjoyed their play by engaging in many activities such as construction play; the children constructed their own creations such as fire trucks, trains, monsters and houses. They also engaged in arts and crafts, play dough creations, dramatic home corner play where they role played. The children celebrated a birthday this week and enjoyed a yummy ice cream cake. . During the wet weather we got the childr...en motivated to participate in some music and movement, the educator encouraged children to join them in a fitness activity which the children really enjoyed. This links to our EYLF outcome 3.2 Children take increasing responsibility for their own health and physical wellbeing. "Adults call it 'working out', Children call it 'playing'". 23.01.2022 We had an awesome week at Kids Connection Childcare centre this week Through this week the Bears, Frogs and Dolphins, were having good time by participating in activities such as outdoor play, outdoor gardening, arts and crafts. The children have been participating in many Diwali festivities this week, they discussed about the importance of Diwali and why it is celebrated, the children also dressed up in their cultural clothing to embrace the festivity. 23.01.2022 This week we calibrated Book week Dolphins,Frogs and Bears participated in book week activities by bringing their favorite books so the educator could read it to them. Eleni, Violet and Zanarayrah shared their books with others. For the last day of Book week the children did a book parade with dress ups and their favorite books. EYLF. Children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm,persistent, imagination and reflexivity.

23.01.2022 Our week at Kids Connection . This week we celebrated NAIDOC week, our educators had planned many fun and cultural activities about the meaning of NAIDOC week and why we celebrate it with a range of Aboriginal based activities such as; dream time painting, Aboriginal music and instruments as well as dancing to Aboriginal music, dream time stories and using aborginal themed capes into our dramatic play. Children were eager to learn new Aboriginal words and beliefs . This links to our EYLF outcome 2.2 Children respond to diversity with respect. At our centre we strive to include all cultures and beliefs making a happy and safe environment for all to be welcomed in. 19.01.2022 Our week at Kids Connection. During this week the Bears and Frogs had engaged in a cooking experience where the children had gone outside where they picked out the ingredients themselves, the children made a yummy crouton garden salad. Each child happily and enthusiastically participated to prepare their meal, they then enjoyed their meal at the cubby house. This experience taught children about sustainability, they had used their own grown vegetables to make a delicious ...salad. The Bears and Frogs had participated in many other activities such as painting, connectors play, outdoor play and many more. In the Dolphins room this week the children participated in a craft activity to make red noses for the upcoming Red Nose Day, they also engaged in group times learning about dream time stories, the children engaged in many other activities such as dramatic home corner, play dough, animals and houses. 16.01.2022 We had a very productive week at Kids connection childcare. We kept our selves occupied by participating in various activities and learning through play. Dolphin started on their project "Under the sea". The bears, frogs and dolphins learned to dance to Aboriginal music and we dressed up in multicultural clothing. 16.01.2022 Dolphins this week tended to their garden and they cut some vegetable for their lunch such as carrots and snap peas. Our garden is ready to grow new vegetables . 2.4 Children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment. Develop an awareness of the impact of human activity on environments and the interdependence of living things.

13.01.2022 During this week at Kids Connection the children engaged in many dramatic play, they used their creativity to imagine a new world or new setting which help children explore their mind, some children chose to explore the home corner and some decided to explore their creativity with legos or blocks . The children expressing their creativity is a way of them sharing their soul. 10.01.2022 Our week at Kids Connection During this week, the Dolphin’s had participated in various activities with their educator. such as painting (Ocean in an Egg carton), Sea animals in water trough with tooth brush, Play dough with letters, writing our names, Story time books, Tell us about your weekend, hopscotch, outdoor free play and more . The children were very curious and enthusiastic to participate in all the activities. The Bears and Frogs had many experiences this wee...k, they had engaged in Sand and water play with animals, cling wrap painting, play dough with cutters, wooden blocks and wooden cars , and more . Our other activities included, home corner cooking, outdoor gardening, outdoor games and building with our tracks and train set. 08.01.2022 Our week at Kids Connection. The Bears and Frogs participated in various activities such as Lego building where the children used their creativity to create such as cars, buildings and houses, they had gone outdoors to explore in the cubby house, they also participated in arts and craft. The Dolphins had engaged in play in the dramatic corner where they decided to make open up an icecream shop, the educator had engaged them in a baking soda and vinegar balloon experiment ...where they had fun and got messy. This experience links to our EYLF learning outcome 4.2 Children develop a range of skills and processes such as problem solving, inquiry, experimentation, hypothesising, researching and investigating. 07.01.2022 During this week the children of Kids Connection were engaged in many experience with their Educators and had an AWESOME week, this week the children had their teddy bears picnic and celebrated a birthday. The Bears and Frogs had participated in a science experiment to make goop which they all were very excited to experience. They had also participated in space rock making and multicultural group time and dancing for our Multicultural month. The Dolphin's started their... week by engaging in multicultural learning such as Dream time painting and learning more of Aboriginal art on capes. The Dolphins also also participated in a cooking experience to make sushi where they had learnt about Japanese culture. They enjoyed group times learning to say 'hello' in various languages.
