21.01.2022 More great feedback from a 10 year old boy. Josh cooked Abra Cadill the other night. (Fish in Dill sauce) He went shopping for the ingredients & prepared the me...al all by himself. 21.01.2022 Why are so many kids in Australia overweight? This is a huge issue in our communities. We need to be proactive to help them learn about healthy eating. We can do this by taking them shopping for the ingredients and getting them in the kitchen to prepare the meals. If they shop for the meal, cook the meal....they'll be more inclined to eat the meal!! This is what KKW is striving for.
21.01.2022 Wow. Had some great feedback this week. 2 little 4 year old boys have KKW and both went shopping with their parents after picking what they wanted to cook. They had an absolute ball shopping and preparing the meal and just loooove the book. I think it's fantastic that the parents are using the recipe as an activity to go shopping for the meal and the kids are feeling soooo empowered at what they have cooked for their family. Exactly how I dreamed this book would do for our kids! Tickled pink.

17.01.2022 Quirky Kids Eating Habits 28 Apr 2015 I have recently heard about some quirky kids eating habits and thought I'd share them with you. Funny little beings that they are!!... Child 1: Doesn't eat meat unless it's a hotdog served cold... And, you MUST call it a cold dog because if you call it a hotdog (even if it IS served cold) this child will not eat it. Child 2: Hates crust- not just on bread and pizza but also pancakes and hotdog rolls too! Really? Crust on a pancake?? Child 3: Has to have the milk separate from the cereal... That way it can be eaten like a dip. Child 4: Won't eat green beans unless Mum picks out the seeds from each and every bean. This child will meticulously check each one before any goes in the mouth! Child 5: Will only eat one bite from each item on the plate.... Then Mum has to make more.
