Kids Run is a community fitness event that is being staged to raise funds for local primary schools, through the participation of their students. For every student that enters - $5 will be donated back to their school and every child will go into the draw to win $500 for their school. This year we again have Kids Run Medals and all new timing chips this year thanks to TH...E RITCHIE GROUP. All participants receive a gift and a medal at the end of the event! 18.01.2022 We have made the difficult, but completely necessary decision to postpone KIDS RUN this Sunday March 22nd. We absolutely love this event and a huge amount of work has gone into the preparation however the health and safety of our little people, their families and the greater community is our number one priority. We will be in contact with eventbrite tomorrow to arrange refunds and will advise of a new date in the next few weeks and let everyone know. ... Thanks again for all your support and to our amazing sponsors. We are very proud to be part of this awesome community we live in. 14.01.2022 We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that took part in KIDS RUN 2019! What an amazing morning it was. To see so many kids and their parents out and about and being so active on a Sunday morning was awesome! Thank you for all the amazing feedback on the event, it's a community event we are very proud of and the only kids only fun run in the Illawarra. We raised almost $1600 for local schools from the day. Toby R from St Patrick's in Port Kembla was the lucky winner of... $500 for his school. In addition to this Ruby's at Bulli, who supplied all the amazing snacks on the morning for a gold coin, donated all this money back and we drew a second entrant who has won an additional $100 for their school and this was Sophie A from Russell Vale PS. Seeing all those little legs and huge smiles cross the line. Giving kids the chance to part in a fun run just for kids! And what a great way to kick off a Sunday morning.
