24.01.2022 This week the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation "Thankful Thursday" shout out goes to Bakers Delight in Argyle Street. Bakers Delight Camden regularly host a coin donation tin on their front counter. The staff are so friendly and cheerful and their customers are always so generous with their donations to Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation. When Susie Marosszeky collects their donation tin she always buys a pack of the white choc berry scones, and don't their new Pink Fu...n Buns look delicious! We really appreciate the support from Bakers Delight and their customers- THANK YOU!

24.01.2022 Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation would like to say a HUGE thank you to the team at Scandinavian Profiles for starting off our ball pledging with a very generous donation. The proposed pledge item for 2020 is the Koala Paediatric Power Wheelchair by Permobil. - The Ideal Paediatric Wheelchair" Our Goal is to raise $40,000 to purchase this piece of equipment for the Paediatric Allied Health unit at Campbelltown Hospital who will give their young charges training and instr...uction on how to get the most out of this wheelchair. 23.01.2022 Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation Annual Ball Cancelled for 2020 !!! After recent discussions with members of the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation Executive and Liverpool Catholic Club it was agreed in light of the current COVID 19 activity in south-west Sydney the 2020 Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation Annual Ball be cancelled. We thank everyone for continuing to show their support to the Foundation and look forward to hosting the ball in 2021.... For everyone who purchased raffle tickets for the 2020 raffle, We will be storing your tickets very safely at Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation’s Headquarters and we will be putting your tickets into the annual raffle for 2021. We look forward to presenting the prizes to some lucky winners!

21.01.2022 This week Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation would like to thank Greenvalley Spices Narellan at Narellan Town Centre for their ongoing support by always hosting a coin tin on their counter for donations from their customers. All the money raised from the coin donation tins goes towards the purchase of paediatric medical equipment for the children’s wards at Campbelltown Hospital. It's always a pleasure to visit friendly and generous Martina and her team at Greenvalley Spice...s Narellan. The store is a feast for the eyes with the huge variety of fresh nuts, spices and sweet delights and especially now with their gorgeous Christmas gifts display. Susie from Kids of Macarthur often visits Greenvalley Spices Narellan and buys their cashews because they are huge and fresh, and she and her husband love their Vege chips!

20.01.2022 Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation has not been able to host a single event this year. It is very exciting that we will be able to go ahead with our Corporate Christmas Wishing Trees - however it will be slightly different this year. NSW Health has advised, due to COVID-19, we will only be able to receive gift cards or fully packaged toys and books that can be wiped down and sanitised prior to handing out. Unfortunately we cannot accept any soft toys or unpackaged goods. Al...l gifts must NOT be gift wrapped. 17.01.2022 Local Clubs continue to support Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation The hospitality industry continues to be one of the hardest hit during the COVID 19 crisis. It is heart warming to know that some of our local Clubs have gone above and beyond to continue to support our work. Special thanks to Campbelltown RSL Club, Ingleburn R.S.L Club and Wests League Club. All made significant financial donations from their ClubsGrant funds. These clubs have been staunch supporters of th...e Foundation since day one. Their ongoing support forms the foundation for our success. This much needed funding will allow Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation to continue to purchase the latest medical equipment to help local sick children. All three clubs also put up their hand to support the Emergency Department Meals initiative. For one week each of these clubs, donated, prepared and delivered eight meals per night to support the front line medical staff manning the Emergency Department fighting COVID 19. 15.01.2022 Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation would like to wish @Shari-Lei McLean a Happy Belated Birthday! Shari has been a proud supporter of the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation for a number of years now. Shari is also a volunteer for Ward Angels who donated a large range of gifts and books for children in Campbelltown Hospital over Christmas time. For her birthday this year Shari requested that her friends and family donate funds to the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation and... she far exceeded her goal and raised a total of $460 which is fantastic! Well done Shari and thank you for the ongoing support and hard work that you do in the community!

09.01.2022 We would like to take this opportunity to thank The Greater Narellan Business Chamber for their generous donation to Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation President Shaun Pereira said 2020 has been a challenging year and as a charity even harder for you. The Greater Narellan Business Chamber supports and attends as many local events each year, this year it hasn’t been possible. So, it is with great pride and pleasure that the chamber would like donate $500 to Kids of Macarthur... Health Foundation to assist you and thank you for everything you do in the community. 08.01.2022 Meals for COVID 19 Emergency Department Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation has continued to coordinate meals to be delivered to Campbelltown Hospital for staff manning the COVID-19 Ward and Emergency Department. Throughout September the following restaurants showed their support by preparing and delivering 8 meals each night for one week for the staff in these Units. 03.01.2022 Ingleburn R.S.L Club continues to be an outstanding Founding Sponsor for Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation. We recently accepted a $10,000 donation from Founding Sponsor, Ingleburn RSL Club via their ClubGrants donation. The Club has been actively supporting Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation since the Foundation’s inception back in 2000. Funds will go towards the purchase of paediatric medical equipment for our local hospitals and community health centres.... Salute Restaurant at the Club also generously supported our recent Meals for Frontline Workers initiative by supplying eight meals per night for one week to the ED and COVID Red Zone workers.
