13.01.2022 A Big Thank You From All of Us at KATZ To all our Parents, Friends and Supporters, thank you for staying with us during such a turbulent year. As you know, we had to temporarily close the school down. Being a small local business in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane and like many local small businesses, Australia wide, we didn't know if we could carry on. But looking at the interest generated this year, I have been overwhelmed at your response to us. We have had another 5 p...eople, this month, who have taken the time to like Kids Acting & Theatre Zone. Throughout the year approximately 40 people have joined us. A Big Welcome!! We are coming to the end of the term and the school year, so it is great, that people are interested in what we are doing. During the school break we will still be here working with our students on our Summer Acting Schools in December and January as well as developing our 2021 program. So we will be available to answer any of your questions and take enrollments of course. This message is mainly a thank you and general information post. But I can't finish without mentioning our coup for our Summer School, "Film and TV Casting". We have secured the the services of a talented photographer. A friend of KATZ and me . Clea Marie will provide 6 Actor Portfolio Headshots for an unbelievable $50. Now as someone who has worked in the industry for more years than I care to remember, the normal fee can range upward of $300. A sample of Clea Marie's work with models is below. (These of course are not portfolio headshots but gives you an idea of her work). Interested? We are just an email message away. I will be emailing out our Parents and Friends Newsletter this week. I send it, in the main, to parents of current students, so if I have stopped sending it to you during the enforced break, and you would like a copy or, if you have never received it and would, please email me. 12.01.2022 I was on stage last night in Mitchelton. First time doing live theatre for over a year. Great to have those butterflies in the tummy. Just a small 2 hander and a good audience reaction. Trevor

06.01.2022 Our Student Showcase Performance is in 2 weeks time 5th December. Students may invite their relatives and friends. This event is free to attend and provides each student the opportunity to do what actors, do, perform for an audience. My advice is; enjoy the moment. Feel the warmth that you will receive from the audience, remember what you have been taught but most importantly have fun.

05.01.2022 A couple of videos from last Saturday. The students had a blast with Niamh at their very first dance and singing lesson. As this was their first lesson, I can't wait for what they will be producing in another 9 weeks. They also had fun with Max doing some vocal exercises through theatre games.
