24.01.2022 Hi everyone, We’re finally ready to get back in the pool....hope you are too? We’re going to start back up on 11th November, regular time (6:30am), regular place (Port Huon Sports Centre)....just a few Covid changes. You will need to BYO breakfast. You can’t come if you’re sick or if you’ve been in contact with anyone with Covid. ... You’ll need to sign in for contact tracing. I’m sure there’s going to be a few more new rules as we think of more. But let’s just get back in the pool and worry about the rest later. We’ve missed you all. 21.01.2022 Unfortunately, the pool at Port Huon Sports & Aquatic Centre is closed from today until further notice. The air conditioning units that provide filtered air ...in the pool room have broken down, meaning the environment in the pool room is not at the standard required for a safe and pleasant swimming experience. We are waiting on new parts for the air conditioners to arrive, which will take about 12 weeks. We apologise for the inconvenience and aim to reopen the pool ASAP. We will provide another update soon. The remainder of the centre is still open for you to enjoy.

18.01.2022 Whilst you in Geeveston you can also have a browse at makers on church st; grab a coffee from Michelle's Roadhouse Kitchen - Geeveston, Grab your sping gardening needs at Huon Valley Hardware or hunt down some vintage finds at The Dusty Mermaid!! What an amazingly generous place we live in!!

16.01.2022 Bringing your weekly swim to you thanks from speedo. Who would be keen to swim here?? Apparently these jellyfish have biologically adapted to their environment and no longer sting!

14.01.2022 Unfortunately Port Huon Sports Centre pool has been closed for the next week or two, due to maintenance issues. This means that we have to cancel our morning swimming program too. Thanks to everyone for their suport of our program this year. We’ll be back next year. Have a merry Christmas. Enjoy your summer holidays and keep swimming See you next year.

11.01.2022 Our final thankyou goes out to Huon Aquaculture, they have kindly donated a $100 voucher for their online store as part of our second prize. Huon Aquaculture have been a vital part of getting us off the group through their community grants program.

10.01.2022 Hi all eager morning squad swimmers. We’re nearing our last Wednesday morning swim of the year.....you all know what that means....Marina swim and fun morning....yeah! Then yummy bacon and egg rolls. (Thanks again J.B Nicholas & Son for donating the bacon). If you are planning on jumping in the river you’ll need a Life jacket and wetsuit.
