These school holidays we welcome all budding junior chefs to come check out the mystery box, grab an apron, pick a favourite recipe and cook up a storm! Plenty of culinary fun, treats for tasting and lots of learning about kitchen skills (and cleaning up!)

12.01.2022 It almost seems reasonable that to end 2020 we are having some unexpected (and unprecedented) technical difficulties with our group program booking page. We have some awesome humans working on solving this issue just as soon as they can. With all the usual sorts of fun being squashed by covid this year - we thought we’d host our very own K&C fair!! Our September holiday programs will be all about fun at the fair! 11.01.2022 Bring out your fishy friends, put on your goggles and flippers - this week we’re getting wet!! This is one of our all time favourite themes and we can’t wait to dive underwater and explore the endless possibilities the underwater world presents for smashing therapy goals!!

Both north and south GC teams will be starting up week 2 of Qld term (week 1 of NSW)! 08.01.2022 We are super forunate to have a steady stream of students hanging with us at our therapy bases - jumping into sessions, helping out with groups and providing some extra supports to our kids, families and communities! We are committed as a service to contribute to the undergraduate education of our up and coming therapists! We also greatly benefit from their knowledge of current evidence and research and the support and knowledge we gain through connecting with universities. will be seeing plenty of students at Kids&Community again in 2021 as we do our bit to educate the next generation of therapists! Thank you too for the contribution you make in welcoming students into your life for a brief time and helping them with their growth and learning!!

While we would love to meet your real life pets and animal friends...we probably should keep it to the inanimate type (though all photos/videos gratefully accepted!). Bring along your favourite animal toy/game and we will bring some four legged (or two legged) fun to therapy sessions this week!! It will be quackers?!

Transport offers limitless possibilities for learning all sorts of very cool things while having a truckload of fun (pardon the pun!)!! We can’t wait to zoom, vroom and chug along to meet your therapy goals!

05.01.2022 So 2020 right?? We all indulged in more time in front of TV (and possibly reality TV) than we had hoped/expected. So, to start 2021 off with renewed intentions Kids&Community is making it real!! Our January school holiday program will bring to life some of the more popular reality TV shows over the past year - in parody form of course - we love a little tongue in cheek fun!!! So get ready to get real these school holidays!!! The tribe has spoken.....it is time for all you kids to out play, out wit and out last your therapists!!! Tune in all week for details!! 04.01.2022 Now we’re allowed to move about a bit more we know many of you are making plans for the January school holidays! We’ve been busy planning our January holiday programs too and we can’t wait to tell you all about it!! While we continue put some finishing touches on the fun before we release all details, we can tell you that after the year that was 2020, we’re planning to kick 2021 off in epic proportions!!! To help with your planning we can tell you that we will be running programs from 5th - 21st of Jan with a very full program for all ages!!! 04.01.2022 Ready to cook up a storm? If you’re new to cooking - kids kitchen is for you! For our more experienced chefs, lets put those skills in action and create our own pop up cafe! Registrations for both programs open tonight!

03.01.2022 You know how much we love our garden and with the beautiful days we have been having we thought the timing was perfect!! This week we’re taking a wander through the garden. We’re expecting to come across some incy wincy spiders, the odd hungry caterpillar and work with you to come up with some creative ways to use your garden at home to work on therapy goals! Time to get grubby!!!

03.01.2022 In HUGE news....we have a new home in the North!!! For all our families at the northen end of the GC we thank you most sincerely for your patience while we have had a rocky path back to face to face services. But...how exciting!!!! From the end of July we will be providing the full range of services from our NEW northern therapy base at Arundel!!! We have a lot of work to do before we move in - we will keep you posted on our progress! There’s some upgrades and new additions coming for our southern base at West Burleigh too!! PS: all the humans are much the same (no upgrades required)!
