18.01.2022 Kindifarm is coming to Kids College on the 17th of September! If you wish for your child to participate, please bring in $7 on the day. Kids College will be covering the remainder of the costs. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are only able to offer this event to the families enrolled on Thursday the 17th of September at this time.

17.01.2022 It's a busy month for dressing up at Kids College! We've already turned into superheros, celebrated dads with footy colours, been comfy in our pyjamas and now we get to turn into pirates and get active! With all of these exciting events happening we want to ensure all of our families have sufficient notice and knowledge about what is happening at Kids College. While we always have our upcoming events posters displayed next to the front door on our Upcoming Events Board and the information relating to these events is sent out to our families via KindyHub. We will also begin posting our upcoming events on our Facebook page to give you as much notification as possible!

15.01.2022 Visions for the ongoing improvement, growth and development of Kids College

14.01.2022 You may have noticed something new in our foyer! We have installed a body temperature camera kiosk right next to sign in/out kiosk as per our Covid 19 safe plan and to keep all our children, parents/visitors and educators Covid safe. How does the kiosk work?... It measures the forehead while it detects your face with accuracy at a rapid recognition rate. If the body temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius or more, we will have to investigate further and centre procedures will be followed. Please make sure you face the camera every time you enter the centre. All information is kept confidential and stays in the centre. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your ongoing support! (and thank you to Miss Ella for being our model!)

13.01.2022 **EDIT** All Preschool and Graduation photos are postponed to the 6th and 7th of October Preschool and Graduation photos are happening on the 23rd and 24th of September! Make sure you have filled, paid and handed in your preschool and graduation photo package order envelope, or are ready to hand in on the photo day. ... Please make sure you pick up a graduation photo package order form from Miss Navya, Miss Ella and/or Miss Kira as soon a possible. For children enrolled on the 23rd and 24th of September, please speak to your educators on your chosen day to inform of any changes of clothes, requests etc... For children who are not enrolled on the 23rd and 24th, photos will begin at 9:30am sharp and we request that you arrive after 9:15am on your chosen day to have your children's pictures taken. If you have any questions or concern, do not hesitate to contact your educators.

13.01.2022 Recently Kids College partnered with Big Yellow Umbrella in support of the broader community. Big Yellow Umbrella provides services, programs and activities to meet the needs of all sectors of the local community. Their services include a Children’s Services program, Youth Services, and Community Development, including promoting and supporting a number of community groups since their inception. Kids College has been delivering their transition to school program every Wednesday during three one hour playgroup sessions at Narellan. It has been a very rewarding experience and has strengthened our community links, collaborating with such a wonderful organisation has given us the opportunity to contribute and support not only the organisation, but the broader community.

The Kids College Transition to School Packs contain activity ideas for preparation at home, activities and stories for your use, information on Kids College’s role in your children’s transition to school, and information on how and what you need to enrol your children into school If your children are starting big school next year and you haven’t grabbed one yet, please see Miss Navya, Miss Ella and/or Miss Kira to get your pack!

11.01.2022 Our second instalment of Wonderful Wednesdays is all about moving your body! Exercise reaps plenty of benefits for the body, mind and soul including weight management, reduced stress and anxiety, increased energy, improving mods and many many more! Today we are spotlighting a gym and fitness community local to the MacArthur area; Technofunc!... Technofunc can be found in in Campbelltown and Narellan, and isn’t your typical gym. Technofunc incorporates lights, music, motivating coaches and a supporting community into each of their group workout classes. There are a variety of classes and times for you to choose from, allowing you to create a fitness routine that suits your needs, goals and lifestyle. 08.01.2022 Congratulations Miss Mikaela Today Miss Mikaela officially completed her studies and is our newest Certificate 3 Educator. We are very proud of Mikaela’s achievement and are even more excited that she will be continuing her studies to complete her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care!

07.01.2022 COVID safe shopping in the Emu Room! While engaging with the shopping dramatic play area on Monday, the Emu children decided to bring the covid changes occurring in the world into their play. This resulted in the children working together with the educators to add a protective screen in front of their cash registers, just like the supermarkets. The children also created their own COVID safe signs that remind all customers to social distance and maintain hygiene practices!

05.01.2022 A lovely 10 weeks of transition to school has come to an end. It has been an inspiring journey with Big Yellow Umbrella. The children celebrated their graduation ceremony along side their peers, families and educators. Thank you to the Big Yellow Umbrella team for this opportunity. The work that you do supporting the community is amazing. We look forward to and would be honoured to collaborate again in the future.

04.01.2022 Yesterday Kindifarm came to visit Kids College! The children had a blast and were able to pet all of the animals, feed goats, watch sheep shearing and experience whip cracking!

01.01.2022 Last Friday Kids College joined in Jeans for Genes day Throughout the day, our friends worked together to create works of art on some pairs of jeans, while learning all about the life saving work that Jeans for Genes supports. We would like to thank our families and educators for supporting the cause with us. In addition to raising awareness and promoting a respect for diversity, you have helped us raise $121.50 through your donations and Jeans for Genes merchandise purchases. This donation will also be supported with a $100 matching from management, totalling a $221.50 donation to the Jeans for Genes foundation.
