16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, This is my acceptance speech for the 'Women Will Change The World' Award at the Ausmumpreneur of the Year Awards (all online this year due to COVID-19). I always find it tough to talk about why we started our business as it brings up a lot of raw emotion on what we went through to help our kids with special needs and also to support our other child to cope with siblings with varying disabilities and behaviours.... We are so proud to be able to help other families and kids to be able to learn simple tools to take responsibility for their own choices and their own health and wellbeing. We certainly know how hard it is to do this as parents, especially with extra layers of stress added in! We were so lucky that we were able to build a community of great people (educators, specialists, friends and family) who were willing to work with us, believed in our kids, and, saw the value in building a tailored plan to assist our kids individually. We are also so grateful to be able to help educators and parents connect to create an inclusive environment for children like ours. To all the parents and kids struggling out there...we see you and we support you with all our heart. Leah x
