24.01.2022 COVID-19 SERVICE UPDATE WE ARE OPEN Kids Focus remains committed to responding to the ever changing environment and situations surrounding COVID-19. We continue to enforce enhanced hygiene practices including hand washing before and after sessions, hand sanitising during sessions as needed and the disinfecting of surfaces within clinic rooms after each session as well as regular disinfecting of our waiting room and bathrooms throughout the day. As of Monday 23 March, we ha...ve taken the decision to further enforce the following procedures: We ask that you arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment to limit the time you are waiting in our reception area We ask that only one person accompanies each child into the therapy room at a time We ask that parents who do not accompany their children into the clinic sessions do not wait in the reception area but wait in their car or in a nearby café and return 5-10 minutes before their child’s session is scheduled to finish If parents/carers need to bring other children to the clinic then we ask that you wait outside the clinic while your other child is in their session Feedback at the end of each session will be provided only via session summary sheets to those families not in the clinic room We ask where possible that grandparents do not bring children to sessions for their own health and safety but we are aware that this may not be always possible We will continue to monitor this ever evolving situation, give updates and adapt as needed to ensure that we can provide services and keep our doors open for as long as possible and provide stability and continuity in these challenging times. We would like to remind you, that if your children display any of the following symptoms, they are to NOT to attend their therapy sessions: Sore throat Cough Fever Runny nose Shallow breathing We understand that many of our parents are concerned at the moment. We want to ensure you that our team is working very hard to offer the safest and most effective form of therapy during this time. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions.
