22.01.2022 Sign Language In our babies room we teach our children basic sign language. Over the last few months we have been practicing more & finish A lot of our babies have managed to follow our actions and now understand and do the same action whilst also saying what they need. ... Today one of our younger babies signed finished for the first time! Seeing this made us as educators so happy and proud. Keep an eye out for more of our signing videos!

21.01.2022 Our babies went out on Friday morning to spread some Christmas cheer around our local community We had a walk to the local shopping complex where we handed out freshly baked Christmas cookies to all the hard workers! The babies made lots of people smile that’s for sure

The children always look forward to making something yummy for either lunch or afternoon tea every Monday! Baby Chelsea & Summer even enjoyed trying some of the yummy ingredients once we finished making the pizzas!

This morning the children decided theyd like breakfast at the new kitchen so our school children served whilst our younger children sat & waited to be served breakfast! ... 09.01.2022 Ahoy me hearties! Shiver me timbers, we had an adventurous International Talk Like A Pirate Day sailing the high seas dressed as pirates. We drew our own treasure maps based on the Kindy Room yard. Then we used teabag painting to make them look old. Once they had dried we went on a swashbuckling treasure hunt to find the spot marked X. Arrrr, happy international talk like a pirate day!

We are lucky here at Kids Inn Ashby to have a wonderful outdoor play space which ignites curiosity and confidence in our little adventurers. Everyday our children can run around with friends, explore play spots and use their imaginations, which develops their minds and bodies. Balance, hand-eye coordination, strength, awareness and social skills are all developing whilst our children play.
