08.01.2022 The health advice has been clear and consistent - our schools are safe. Our State COVID-19 numbers are very encouraging but we cannot be complacent. We want par...ents and staff to have confidence that the risk is indeed low and we want to learn more about this virus. Thats why weve partnered with the Telethon Kids Institute to test for asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 among school students and staff. Participation will be voluntary and will require the consent of staff, and parents on behalf of their children. Eighty public schools, education support centres, and residential colleges from the metropolitan area and regional WA will initially participate. The participating schools reflect a range of socio-economic, educational, and cultural backgrounds. While we have taken swift action to avoid community spread, we continue to take further steps to protect Western Australians. Well remain vigilant. And together, we will beat it.

We invite parents and carers to a six week modified evening program to experience the benefits for themselves. The Circle of Security Parenting program will support you to: Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read their emotional needs. Support your child’s ability to manage emotions. Enhance your child’s self-esteem. Honour the innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure.
