18.01.2022 10 years ago I facilitated a 6 week drumming intensive here at OLOR. The students were highly engaged throughout. This concluded with a choreographed stage show/concert which was highly acclaimed. The students performed far beyond expectations, and made us SO proud. It is a great pleasure to be back (with the same teacher!) to run a drumming intensive for year 5 & 6 tHis morning. This is going to go OFF

10.01.2022 Getting ready for the rumble. It’s all about the modifications - timbales (metal) have been recently industrially reinforced and angled to improve playability for kids. The balafon (wood) has, after 20 years of constant travelling & endless playing by thousands of kids, been restrung and repaired (by me). I can’t remember it sounding any better! Happy days I thought it was time for balafon heaven. So onward we head, ready for the rumble @ St Dunstans Anglican Church Denistone East

10.01.2022 Such a fabulous morning full of laughter, drumming, jumping, counting, screaming and learning too! The kids were super pumped, every group from babies to the big 5 year olds ROCKED. Seeing so many staff having a great time and participating is not only enjoyable for me but a great testament to the example they set for the children. 04.01.2022 In light of the current COVID 19 situation we would like to present this open statement regarding our practices, which we have adapted to mitigate the spread of germs and infection. Whilst many events have been cancelled we have clients who are going ahead with smaller vacation care incursions in the April holidays, at least until we hear information that changes this.
