19.01.2022 Are you one to let the kids explore with Messy Play? It is so much fun and well worth the clean up. One of our great fun messy play activities is cooked spaghetti. You can add as much, or as little colour, to this as you like. We put the colour in as it was cooking, then rinsed the pasta, to help remove all the starch when it was cooked. You could use any shaped pasta and also gluten free if you have little ones with allergies.

I will try and give you ideas for things, that people may have access to around the house. Stay Safe, Be Kind, Check In on Friends and Family especially the vulnerable. Christmas Trees These are super easy, a paper plate and either, pencils, crayons or paint to colour, then you can decorate with stickers, coloured paper cut up into shapes and stuck on, children have amazing imaginations and don't need much to get creative. These were made at the shop by children last Christmas.

08.01.2022 Do you enjoy finding sensory play activities? This is one our our absolute favourite recipes at Kids Spot. We always make it in big batches, and it will keep if sealed up, for more than one session. It is fantastic if you have children of varying ages, as it is safe if little ones it in there mouths, but it has fantastic texture for older children to get really creative. (We generally made ours with Gluten Free Flour and it works great)

05.01.2022 I have a couple of things to share today. We all need a rainbow at the moment so I have popped up a printable colouring in sheet. I also have a link to a fantastic Glue Recipe, to share this was a Pintrest find and is super easy to make. This not only works great for basic gluing, it is safe if you have little ones, who like to put their fingers in their mouths still.
