20.01.2022 Playgrounds closed for now All playgrounds in Greater Shepparton including KidsTown are closed during Stage 3 restrictions. This includes the KidsTown Café, Miniature Train, the KidsTown public toilets and all programs and events at the site. KidsTown is undertaking maintenance on the playground and park equipment whilst closed.

The Dig In Cafe will be OPEN on Saturday 19 September until Sunday 4 October from 10am to 3pm!... Note the Miniature Train will not be running until further notice. Cafe hours may be subject to change without notice due to weather conditions. Your safety is important to us. Please maintain social distance, wear a mask if you are 12 years of age or older, stay home when you are unwell and wash your hands regularly. 17.01.2022 Word and Mouth - Talking to young people about COVID-19 People younger than 40 make up more than half of Victoria's active coronavirus cases, with Victorians in their 20's accounting for almost a quarter of the state's 17,238 active infections. It is important that our young people understand the need to follow Stage 3 restrictions and if they don’t, the impact their decision can have on their family and friends. To help reinforce the messaging to our young people Word and Mo...uth and Council have developed a campaign that not only reinforces adhering to the restrictions but also acknowledging the feelings they may be experiencing at this time and where they can get help if needed. You may have seen the mobile billboard truck around Tatura, Mooroopna and Shepparton? Along with a social media campaign, online advertising and outdoor advertising there was a full page advert in the local papers to help parents and carers have a conversation with their teenagers and young adults.
