25.01.2022 So, ok...It’s lockdown no.1097? Maybe not, but its kinda got all the feels of it. There have been some things I’ve wanted to do - to try. Bring on the 1979 craft book! Today’s activity, a simple Macrame pot plant holder. It’s a beautiful, focused activity to do with your kids (or by yourself) - I might have a new craft addiction. Isa’s keen to learn. So we’ll make a kids how to - less the glass. I really think this could be achieved with wool, thick string, anything you hav...e about the house. Can’t wait for the op shops to open back up so we can get some cool containers! Stay tuned.

06.01.2022 I was watching Eli show me her new trick - going backwards on the monkey bars. She said before I start I want to tell you ten things I’m grateful for she went through them one by one, sharing all the detail with me. Things from friends she appreciates to being able to watch the baby birds in our neighbourhood grow. Oh the joy! Eli sometimes finds change hard. Her grateful statements were telling me how that journey is going for her. It was a precious moment and she was sh...ining. After she shared, she said tonight she would like to do loving kindness, she let me know the people she would like to bless through this meditation. The more we do, the more they do. They learn from us and they also teach us - so much more! If you would like to try loving kindness meditation with your little ones - it is: May you be safe May you be happy May you be healthy and strong May you sleep and live with ease You replace (you) with a name May Eli be safe etc Our girls choose who we say it for - it’s so calming, it reduces anxiety and so much more!
