22.01.2022 Collaboration is so important! Different therapists bring different skill sets, which can make a therapy program that much more effective when they join forces.
21.01.2022 This is an amazing video from my colleagues at Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Centre in Sydney. The difference music therapy has made in this little guy's life is undeniable.
20.01.2022 Every Australian who has, or supports someone who has, a disability should know this.
17.01.2022 Another inspiring story from Nordoff Robbins to celebrate #WorldMusicTherapyDay
16.01.2022 Fascinating research about the benefits of music therapy for children with autism. Would love to see further research.
13.01.2022 We've been a bit quiet on our Facebook page but we've been working hard behind the scenes. Stay tuned for some exciting news, particularly for families in the Western suburbs.
12.01.2022 I’m here at the Australian Music Therapy conference, ready to connect with, be inspired by, my colleagues from across Australia. #austmta2018

10.01.2022 In addition to our association with De Silva's Kids Clinic, we are very excited to announce that we have teamed up with Western Children's Health Centre to provide music therapy to families in the western suburbs. WCHC provides a range of services, from Speech and Occupational Therapy to Dietician and Audiology, all under the one roof, and now they can add music therapy to that list, so they're well worth checking out. http://www.westernchildrens.com.au/
10.01.2022 As a parent of a little person myself this is an important reminder of how important it is to share music with your children. Row Row Row Your Boat, Twinkle Twinkle and Baby Shark are popular in our house.
08.01.2022 Did you know that music therapy is great for adults as well as children? Here are all the ways music therapy can help across the lifespan.
05.01.2022 There is still a lot of confusion around the NDIS and music therapy, with many participants being misinformed that Music Therapy is not funded. Please go into your planning meeting assured that Music Therapy can be funded by your NDIS plan, and make sure your planner and LAC are aware of this. If you, or they, have any doubts or questions the Australian Music Therapy Association's NDIS representatives would be happy to answer any queries.
