23.01.2022 No one’s really been able to get onto OV1 since they arrived at @birdsvillehotel... but we’re tracking them and we figure we’ll give them a few more days to soak up the atmosphere and do their Survey before we start worrying!

21.01.2022 Bundaberg to Roma via Theodore How exciting to be back on the road and preparing for a KidzFix Rally. It feels like this rally has been years in the making (thanks COVID). After exploring all there is to offer in the Botanical Gardens, the original view where Burt Hinkler grew up, it was time to hit the road. Driving through the hills, the wild flowers and cotton into the quaint town of Theodore, where we will stop for our first lunch. Back on the road again destined for our night stop in Roma. Well there is so much on offer here, from the Largest Bottle Tree, the largest commercial windmill and the Big Rig Night Show. Can’t wait to see what is in store tomorrow.

16.01.2022 After visiting the Qantas Museum we started to head further west towards Birdsville. There has been some amazing country we have driven through. Hitting the red dirt and the open road we arrive at the Betoota Hotel for a good chat with some interesting characters! Just a reminder if you have registered or booked in accommodation for our catch up for Weekend in the Middle on 26-28 March, please do so. We will be releasing accommodation held in the next few days and finalising our meal venue numbers too.

16.01.2022 Roma to Barcaldine via Tambo After being booted out of Injune in account of the Beef in the Buffel Ball, we landed in the land of discovery. Roma has so much on offer. From accidental oil and gas discovery to the largest cattle saleyard, we can’t wait to play here. On to Tambo, the land of the Tambo Teddy. An afternoon of flat plains and a gorgeous sunset into Barcardine, the birthplace of the Australian Labor Party.

12.01.2022 We are so excited to be back on the road! The survey for 2021 KidzFix Rally has begun! The landscapes and roads have been amazing and we are only on Day Two. 08.01.2022 KidzFix Survey begins! Arriving in town we were definitely able to quench our thirst with adequate refreshments. Checked out the Coral Coast and the amazing views and snorkelling available. Super excited to hit the road tomorrow morning!
