23.01.2022 Kidzoles- Orthotics 4 Kids

23.01.2022 Such fun Sponsoring and Coaching my daughters teeball this year. The Kidzoles kittens grew so much as a team. I was so proud to see it all click and their skills develop. What a great first community sponsorship for Kidzoles.

23.01.2022 Pop your shoes on please. Who would like a dollar for every time you’ve said that? Madison has worn these Ascent school shoes since the start of the year with her Kidzoles inside. They both really hold up to the daily rigors of school ground play! Being my first year of trade with kidzoles I’ve been so happy to see them not wear out, feel super comfy( my kids biased opinions) and do their job.

22.01.2022 Kidzoles orthotics designs change again as our children approach the more active years of their lives. By this stage our kids are starting to engage in sports and the load going through their muscles, tendons and bones increases. This is when kids can get injured and developed specific load related pain. In this age range kids will tell you they have pain and point with accuracy to the area of concern. We commonly see pain develop in and around growth plates. Also in tissues ...(muscle/tendon) themselves as the threshold of what a tissue can tolerate maxes out. The J4 and J5 are the same designs with varying widths and length. The pitch from forefoot to rearfoot increases. As does the control through the rearfoot of the orthotic. There will be more running, jumping, twisting motions through the foot and ankle with various sports and the orthotic is pitched to tolerate this impact. As always, any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me Via DM or by website contacts page.

22.01.2022 The J3 Kidzole has been designed for children between 4.5 years to 6 years. The design changes to this orthotic from the Previous J2 centre around the rearfoot mechanics of walking. The heel cup lowers as extrinsic muscles between the leg and foot become stronger. The pitch of the arch support is proximal with a shelf sitting beneath the navicular bone to support position as this bone fuses from cartilage to solid bone.... In this age range children will be able to ascertain pain, although not with pin point accuracy. They will more likely complain or sore feet, sore legs, sore knees. Other cues you can look out for are frequent tripping and resistance to participate in loading activities like running and jumping. For more information please don’t hesitate to DM me or contact me via my website contacts page www.kidzoles.com

21.01.2022 The wonderful thing about Kidzoles is they fit into even the slimmest styles of footwear. Providing functional pivots for the feet, legs and hips to move upon.

21.01.2022 Should we always be concerned with flat feet position in our children? click on the link to my blog below to find out more.

19.01.2022 Auskick is gearing up to start soon. If your child suffers with sore heels during the game Kidzoles will easily fit into a footy boot to help ease their pain. Plus they come with a full 30 day money back guarantee.... which psssst by the way has never been claimed

18.01.2022 The affirmation cover on the Kidzoles orthotics has beautiful action words that encourage your child to thrive with movement. My hope is that each day they put their shoes on they will see these words and it will raise there courage to hop, skip, run, walk, seek, explore, adventure and pivot. Stacey x

16.01.2022 Kidzoles inside those shoes!

16.01.2022 The hamstrings are a super important muscle group that can effect postural alignment and the ability of other lower limb muscles to function effectively. Have a read of the latest blog on everything Hamstrings. Staceyx

15.01.2022 https://kidzoles.com/blog/growth-plate-pain-in-kids What are Growth Plates and why is it they are so commonly injured in our children? Dr. Stacey Keating (Podiatrist) discusses Growth Plates and the 3 most common Growth Plate conditions that occur in the lower limb.

15.01.2022 Fresh Basketball kicks with some cool Kidzoles to stop that horrible heel pain from stopping play!

15.01.2022 Our fitting instructions make it super simple to fit KidZoles to your child’s shoe.

14.01.2022 Kidzoles- the cover may be the same but the designs change. Why? Because the way our kids move changes as they age! Their bones develop, their muscles strengthen and the level of activity increases. Our kids shouldn’t be put in mini versions of an adult orthotic. Think functional, not full contact

14.01.2022 It was so important to me that Kidzoles fit into slim sportswear like footy boots or soccer shoes because this is where our kids are under extra load that may cause pain! I’m super proud of this range and how they have helped so many kids stay active and having fun! Stacey x

13.01.2022 Calf Stretch- keep the feet pointing towards the wall and bend knees. Hold for 5 counts and do each side 2 times. I’d recommend doing this stretch after your hamstring stretch to work down the posterior muscle groups.

13.01.2022 Our matching affirmation custom @noissueco tissue paper to wrap the Kidzoles in for delivery.

13.01.2022 Up close with the J5! This functional orthotic focuses on assisting muscles acting between the leg to foot through the ankle. We call them extrinsic muscles. Each of these extrinsic muscles has a job to do when it comes to the way our kids move and how they absorb force. Kidzoles J5 assist the axis’s the muscles/tendons work through for movement.

12.01.2022 Kids with Sore heels? A little bit of heat goes a long way to help ease this pain. 20 minutes under a heat bag works wonders. Enjoy

10.01.2022 Wondering if the school shoe innersole supports the foot? Scroll across to look at the difference between the foam insert included in the shoe versa Kidzoles

10.01.2022 Calf raises for kids. Strengthening is a crucial part of any rehab from pain. Including in our kids. While we use kidzoles orthotics to manage load and support mechanics. We use strengthening and stretching of muscles to improve overall lower limb health and mobility.

09.01.2022 #jump - movement words are displayed across the Kidzoles orthotics to encourage our kids to thrive with activity!

09.01.2022 Hamstring stretching- super important muscle group that supports stability of the pelvis and knee. As these become tight we see changes at the hip, knee, foot and ankle through walking/running. Yes I’m a big advocate for kids stretching their hamstrings!!

08.01.2022 J2 is the smallest kidzole and starts for kids aged 2.5 to approx 4 years of age. Children this age will experience foot/leg related pain and convey that to you through their behaviours. Look out for refusal to do their normal walk to the park, an inability to keep up with their peers moving about and resistance to walk. Kidzoles designs change in their features and control margins based around age, activity and common gait patterns of a child in this group. They work to su...pport extrinsic muscle function whilst not over-correcting the foot. Sizing for the J2 begins at junior uk 5 (a tiny bit bigger than a business card) to junior uk 8. Any questions or queries please contact me via DM or my website- www.kidzoles.com Enjoy, Stacey x

07.01.2022 Kidzoles Designs change as the foot develops.

06.01.2022 Super simple for your kiddos to swap their Kidzoles from one shoe to next

03.01.2022 I opened up my Insta tonight to find an endorsement of my product by another Podiatrist. She just bought the orthotics through my website for her child. I may have a cried a little....Happy cry of course Feedback from colleagues is always amazing. I’ve never met the owner of #GWSmobilepodiatry. In truth, I didn’t realise she was a Podiatrist until this post. So grateful to you for sharing your experience with Kidzoles as a Podiatrist and a Mumma. Thank you

02.01.2022 Let’s strengthen those calf muscles. Calf raises- go for 2 seconds and lower for 2 seconds. Do this 10 times. * Calf raises primarily target the gastrocnemius and soleous muscles complex. A Super important muscle group for foot and ankle function.
