25.01.2022 A few jobs from the last week servicing Tawonga and Mt Beauty including a mortice lock replacement and quoting product for a display cabinet as well as a few others. Due to unforeseen circumstances in the coming weeks a non-marked private car may be used to service on site work in the final preparations for the work van finally being registered and the trusty commodore sedan being re purposed out of the business!

This year has been difficult for many people since the fires and the current Covid pandemic and this business has felt the effects and watched the dynamics change. With great thought, Kiewa Valley Locksmith & Handyman will run as emergency only for the month of August. Only openings and urgent security related issues will be serviced. Months of planning, preparation and waiting to bra...nch the business out has become inappropriate for the next 6 weeks as well as the regular service conditions, which have been increasingly difficult to manage during the pandemic and the current stage 3 restriction will add the headache. Reviews will be made however the ever changing conditions cannot be predicted. Hopefully August sees no further restrictions and mid way through September this action can be lifted to hopefully implement further services for spring! 04.01.2022 A busy last week completing jobs in Mt Beauty and Tawonga South! Including new door hardware and lock installations, repairs, rekeying and urgent openings. Late last Friday morning services were halted due to the development of a slight symptom which is common in covid-19. A coronavirus swab test was taken and results were negative to covid-19. Thank you to the staff at the medical centre and hospital in Mt Beauty, for organising a test 2 hours from first calling and getting ...results back promptly. Since Friday, isolation has set in and services won't be available until symptoms have cleared and a full sterilisation has been completed right through the business. Strict cleaning and distancing measures will continue once open again. Enquiries are still more than welcome and urgent jobs will be processed appropriately. 04.01.2022 The busiest 4 weeks since opening! Managed to have a couple of days off from the holiday period however it was focused to complete urgent jobs. A great deal of jobs packed into a short time frame. Parts are still on backorder from last month and the fires have effected productivity and efficiency. Hopefully we are back to a normal state now. This week will be the start to fixing up all jobs been left on hold and invoicing/account work to have everything sorted out! Thank you to all for their patience and support so far this year! February will be the new start to the 2020 year

04.01.2022 Closing for all non urgent jobs today and returning on the 8th of January. The 24hr emergency service will be available over this period for lock outs and urgent work. A massive thank you to all new and returning customers! Your support over the last 17 months of operation, from key duplication to full building lock fitment and all other jobs in between, is greatly appreciated! It has been a very busy and achievable year with a new uniform made, new key programming equipmen...t and an automatic key cutting machine, a new work van, a huge rise in stocked items and loads of jobs completed from Falls Creek to Wodonga and surrounding areas. Next year will see further internal business upgrades and improvements, scheduled visits throughout the valley, new specialty tools and potentially new programming equipment for vehicles. 04.01.2022 A good week back! Fairly busy and enjoyable. In Mount Beauty and Tawonga this week, next week is forming and Tuesdays free travel will commence once again! Completing jobs from installing customer supplied door stops to making keys to a car. Quite varied. 02.01.2022 Back from a week of holidays! First one in roughly 6 years. Thank you to those who were patient and understanding for the delay in service and working with me to schedule urgent work to be done and dealing with no phone reception for parts of the week. Service is back to normal now!

02.01.2022 The end to another busy week! Spending the last 2 weeks completing jobs in Mt Beauty, Tawonga, Tawonga South and Falls Creek. The work van will be ready very soon. Thank you to all for their patience so far with extended work period's caused to the limitations on a sedan! In the near future, gardening maintenance will be offered as an extension to the handyman side of work! Pictured below is the progression of a portion of work done from the most recent yard clean up job.... Closed for all non urgent work this Monday the 9th for the public holiday. Emergency work will still be offered.

02.01.2022 Here we go again. No changes to availability and services provided! Considered essential. Hopefully Wednesday sees a relax in restrictions.

02.01.2022 Closing next Friday the 18th and coming back the 4th of January. One week to get jobs in! Providing emergency service over the Christmas period! A interesting year to look back on. The van had a replacement engine fit, a more appropriate work phone replaced the old one, card payments became available, reaching out further into the valley more frequently became a priority, loads more stocked items and quantities became available, a new laptop was kindly donated, new machinery ...to duplicate aftermarket remotes and make keys to cars with keys lost/create 2nd remote keys! And of course the huge impact of the fires and corona virus. Thank you to all new and returning customers! Your support has been amazing as this year has been especially difficult. Part time positions have become ruling this year and will continue to do so until change can be implemented. Any work that has been completed, even just a $5 key, is always greatly appreciated! Next year will see further internal improvements, more services and stocked items, regular free travel days continued and a focus of business exposure and growth.
