Then maybe you need to understand the power of mindfulness through meditation and how to help your memory become more intact through simple techniques. Erika has been teaching people the art of meditation/relaxation and mindfulness since 1985. This four week course is available at the Centre. In this free parenting program, learn how to: Connect and communicate with your child, Help your child feel safe and secure, Manage difficult behaviour (tantrums, attention seeking, clinginess), Support yourself when times are tough. 19.01.2022 The State Government has released a strict lockdown and updated health directives that will take effect from midnight tonight and will be in place for the next ...6 days. This is to minimise activity within our community to contain any further transmission of COVID-19. They are aiming to act quickly and go hard to ensure the cluster does not become widespread. 17.01.2022 The Lights Community and Sports Stadium, Lefevre Community Stadium, Enfield Community Centre and Kilburn Community Centre will remain closed on Monday 23 Novemb...er 2020 while we await further advice from SAPOL and SA Health about the activities that are allowed to take place. The following services will re-open on Monday 23 November 2020: Library Services The Civic Centre Community Buses Community Services support in a staged manner Graffiti removal All Field Service staff will be back at work performing normal duties Public Toilets Golf facilities are will re-open Sunday for recreational golf. The continued health and safety of our community is important to us, so we want to be sure that we are correctly following the SA Government directives. We will update you as soon as more information becomes available.

17.01.2022 FRED'S VAN and ORANGE SKY are in full swing again on Thursday evenings providing a service to the community. Orange Sky Australia provide a free laundry service from 5:30-8pm. Helping people experiencing homelessness or doing it tough through laundry and conversation. FRED'S VAN provide a free sit down meal at 7pm. Meals are supplied by St Vincent de Paul Society volunteers. No need to book. Contact 8112 8720.

16.01.2022 The Kilburn Community Centre is quite a hub for art both on the outside walls and the inside. In 2017, on a very cold and wintery day, 14 people transformed this wall. Seen from the playground, this wall is a snapshot of Australia's native playground. Featuring Aboriginal art and native flora and fauna, Shane Cook invited fellow artist Thomas Readett of T.R Visual Arts to participate. Thomas created these kookaburras. 12.01.2022 Check out these happy faces from out Little Libraries Launch held on Monday. About 175 people came to help us celebrate. The Little Library was painted by Aboriginal artist Leticia, once finished it will sit proudly in the butterfly garden. We will put books for adults and children in it. 04.01.2022 The Centres Stadium has just become available on Saturday evenings. Its a full size stadium with a wooden sprung floor - great for dancing, sport, exercise, roller skating and activities that need space. It has access to a kitchen and its own toilets. Other times it is available include Saturday afternoons, a number of week days and Thursdays early evening. We also have a hall and five meeting rooms that have availability too.
