22.01.2022 In the year that was 2020, we were more than delighted to participate in the Christmas Present appeal for The Salvation Army. Each year, there are many Australian families that fall on hard times especially around the festive period and so, our staff members each bought a child’s gift and placed it under our tree, which was then distributed by the Charity just in time for Santa. Pictured below is our HR Manager Maree who received a lovely thank you message and certificate from The Salvation Army to mark our contributions.

17.01.2022 On Monday, Confluence Water representatives Ruben Dowd (Project Manager), Emma Hale (Environmental Co-ordinator) and Matt Guy (Health and Safety Officer) were onsite to execute plant inspections and induct our Insituform team who will be working on the Sydney Water P4S (Partnering for Success) Project. We are expecting our ‘works to proceed’ permit to be issued by Sydney Water over the next few days, with the aim of being in full swing by early 2021.

15.01.2022 We are delighted to have Charlie Teo and Tony Bleasdale OAM - the Mayor of Blacktown with us today to help officiate the opening of our new Kings Park premises. These facilities will enable us to have all our key Killard Infrastructure and Insituform personnel together in one place allowing us to streamline our workforce and ensure our clients have straightforward access to the people they need. For those who don’t know, Charlie Teo is one of the world’s leading Keyhole Neuro...surgeons who founded the ‘Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’ and Charlie Teo Foundation. It was an honour to have him with us today and also Tony, who has been a Blacktown City Councilor since 1996. Our Managing Director, Jerry Daly, is a huge supporter of Charlie and his work so this year Killard Group have nominated Charlie’s foundation as their Charity of choice.

13.01.2022 Today we are excited to introduce the junior engineers from our Sydney team. These young professionals are currently working on some of our largest projects around New South Wales and we love having their determination, fresh ideas and enthusiasm on board. We are very proud of how well they each have gained the respect and trust of clients and colleagues, and are looking forward to watching them develop their skill sets and knowledge further within the Killard Group.

07.01.2022 Safety is our #1 priority and we are always finding safer ways to do high risk work. Last year we invested in two Vac lifts that have been very beneficial to our projects when working with large diameter pipes. These Vac lifts allow us to load and unload faster, have less people in the work zone and require less operators than conventional methods. At Killard Group, we want to ‘risk proof’ our projects and the first step towards this milestone is keeping our team out of dangerous and high risk situations.
