25.01.2022 Hello everyone! Starting tomorrow, we have decided to CLOSE every Tuesday for the rest of the month! (Incl. bottle-shop) We will be using this day off for ma...intenance, renovation, extra cleaning, rest and family time. We have been kept really busy during this time with the army and we just aren’t finding the time to do the things we would like to. We will re-evaluate at the end of the month and keep you posted. I hope everyone understands and we are sorry for any inconvenience! Have a great week

25.01.2022 We have your New Years Eve day sorted! Come for lunch and stay for the arvo! We have raspberryslushy’s for the kids and a tropical lemon daiquiri for the adults! ... Plus a huge jumping castle in the beer garden and live music from 4-7pm in the beer garden also! Today we are celebrating the positive’s of 2020 and there sure has been plenty. We are so appreciative of your support and can’t wait to see everyone today

19.01.2022 Update on stage 2 - easing of restrictions! We are semi-opening tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd June) with tight restrictions! We will be following the COVID SAFE Industry plan which means we can seat up to 20 people in each of our defined area, depending on the size of each room.... Bookings are still very much encouraged for lunches and dinners! To avoid disappointment please call ahead to reserve a table We will be serving lunch every day and dinners will remain Wednesday through to Sunday. Accommodation is always available! Drinking without eating is allowed! Although it is table service and patrons will have to be seated in our public bar to do so (Maximum of 15 people). We are exited to see our locals and familiar faces again! It’s so important to socialise, laugh and catch up with people you love. That’s why we can’t wait to open our doors

19.01.2022 A few things we did this week The pokies are back on, a new fence in case someone wants to bring their horse to stay aswell, and a little spread for a function yesterday! Almost totally back to business... ... From next Tuesday (14th July) we will be opening at 3pm! This includes the bar, bottle-shop, accommodation and dinners! So we will only be closed for Tuesday lunch as of next week. We want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we build our team back up! Have a great week

Thanks so much to everyone who had a drink, ate and stayed with us from the Sunny and Gold Coasts and mostly ...Brisbane, and all of our great locals. We served up 670 meals and turned our accommodation over 3 nights! Just want to thank our awesome staff who go the extra mile or two when we have to. Got to be the luckiest little Hotel in S E Qld! 12.01.2022 UPDATE An update on STAGE 1 easing of restrictions! As most of you have probably heard, we are able to open our restaurant (only) this Saturday, for 10 people at any one time. ... We have decided to open our dine in restaurant for Saturday and Sunday lunches only. We are going to seat guests on the front verandah or Beer Garden as we feel there is less risks outside! Dine in lunches will be RESERVATION ONLY! So please call in advance if you are wanting to book, otherwise we will still be doing take away lunches aswell. We have received SO many calls already, so I will keep you updated to whether we are booked out this weekend or not! We will have 10 people from 11:30am - 1pm, and 10 people from 1pm - 2:30pm. Leaving time to order, receive your food, have a chat/relax and time for our staff to clean for the next group. It is so important that we do our best to avoid a second wave of COVID 19, so please enforce social distancing and hygiene at all times! We are exited to see our economy and community get back on their feet and we know if everyone can work together and be cautious, we will get there! 10.01.2022 2020 CHRISTMAS PARTY! We have been renovating our beer garden for some time now and we are so exited to enjoy it with you all on the 12/12/2020! We will be working extra hard over the next two weeks to get it all finished. We will also be opening a back bar in the shed for everyone’s convenience! 09.01.2022 The Prime Minister has announced new social distancing rules, including the closure of clubs, pubs and bars from midday tomorrow, nationwide. Indoor sporting ve...nues, gyms, nightclubs, churches and casinos are also closing. Cafes and restaurants will be restricted to takeaway only. Schools will remain open, but parents can choose to keep their children home. We’ll have what it means for our community, tomorrow #WINNews6pm

08.01.2022 Our first weekend was a huge success! Both session were completely booked out both days, and plenty of walk in’s that were happy to get take away’s. We are hoping everything runs smoothly and we can accommodate for more people soon! ... It feels nice to be stressed again!

08.01.2022 Another one for the books.. this weekend definitely deserves a little post. As most of you know, we had the Army staying with us and on Thursday we said goodbye to them! It was sad to see them go, they were an absolute pleasure to have and we were incredibly lucky to have them in such uncertain times... we will really miss you guys! We watched two beautiful people celebrate becoming one at a sweet reception we held in our dining room. It was truly special to be apart of a...nd we wish them all the best for the future Nicole Robinson We also celebrated our beautiful cook Alicia van der Schyff and Nathan Schalack at their baby shower, we are so proud of them both and can’t wait to meet their baby boy. Another post to come for our gorgeous girl and her departure soon! All this while serving 993 meals over our long weekend... such a HUGE number for our little pub. We truly can’t thank our staff enough, none of this would be possible without you guys! You push yourselves to your limits for us every weekend, you guys are the best. There will be a major Christmas party this year! To breaking records, babies and LOVE!!!
