20.01.2022 Bowlers from Southern Cross Warwick visited the Killarney Bowls Club yesterday for social bowls. After a few cool drinks and a B-B-Q they took to the green. The weather was a little on the warm side and a few needed a rest but everyone enjoyed themselves and we welcome them back any time.

18.01.2022 We had a visit from the Downs Wanderers Caravan Club on Saturday 16th January. Some tried their hand at lawn bowls while others enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the club. They are welcome to come again any time.

06.01.2022 Yesterday a group of very friendly people from the Bushtrekkers Caravan Group visited the club for a game of barefoot bowls and a meal. Unfortunately (for them) the skies opened up and put a stop to the bowls but that didn't stop them from enjoying themselves. One of the men celebrated his birthday there and he went away happy. Thanks to Greg for transporting the group, Bru and Les for doing the B-B-Q and many thanks to the ladies who volunteered behind the bar and in the kitchen. Your efforts are deeply appreciated.

02.01.2022 The Killarney Bowls Club welcomes all Social Clubs, Caravan Clubs, Sporting Clubs and any organisations to come and have a game of bowls. We can provide a B-B-Q for you if you wish. Please ring the club 07 4664 1214 for information. Recently the Cleveland Bowls Club paid us a visit followed by the Downs Wanderers Caravan Club. Our own Australia Day Barefoot Bowls Day was enjoyed by all who attended. In the next few weeks we will be greeting more caravaners so if you are considering coming to this lovely town with your group and you want to have a game of bowls ring the number above.

02.01.2022 Killarney Memorial Aged Care held their annual barefoot bowls day at the club yesterday and it was well attended. Five rinks were filled with enthusiastic players simply out to enjoy the day and they did. There were heaps of prizes to be won in the huge raffle and the ladies from KMAC in the kitchen provided a very nice meal for all who were hungry. Thank you for coming and we will see all of you again next year. Thanks to the club volunteers. Cheers

01.01.2022 The Killarney Bowls Club held their Fours Carnival on Sunday with 56 players participating. After the rain on Saturday it was great to see the sun shining under beautiful blue skies. All players appeared to enjoy themselves and it was great to have the green up and going again. Winners on the day was the Southern Cross team led by Geoff. Runners-up was the Frank Taylor team. !st round winners went to Rhonda Cox and her team. 2nd Round winners were Jean Callam and the Ta...nny team while Texas took out the 3rd Round. Thanks to Deb for providing the luncheon and many thanks to Sandy, Gail, Michelle, Kaye and Chris. Thanks to Kim, Les and Bowie who organised the carnival and ran the day. Also many thanks to Graeme for the work he is doing on the green. Thank you to the sponsors on the day. The input from everyone is deeply appreciated. See more
