25.01.2022 COVID-19: Podiatry is considered to be an essential service. As 80% of our client base is classed as elderly we take the COVID-19 threat seriously. Extra measures have now been taken on broad to ensure our patients safety. . We have adapted to the social distancing rule with our waiting room chairs reduced to 1/4. Allowing adequate distance between chairs. . We ask all our patients if they have a support person bringing them to ensure they wait outside or in the car. We will... ring them once the treatment has been completed. This minimises patients in the waiting room. . We ask that each patient enters the clinic no more than 5 minutes prior to their treatment time to reduce traffic within the waiting room. . 19.01.2022 BACK TO SCHOOL, FOOTWEAR TO AVOID . Back to school time is approaching! The most common problem we as podiatrist comes across is lower limb issues/ injuries caused by non supportive footwear. Skate shoes would have to be the most common shoes that causes many issues. .
