25.01.2022 I have set more "Killiecrankie diamonds" in the last few days. Today I took a new supply in to The Purple Swamphen as well. It is a good time for a look. If you would like to see our display at Killiecrankie just phone us on 0428592130 to make sure we will be available.

22.01.2022 We will be at the Lions Market tomorrow with "Killiecrankie diamond" jewellery and stock from the sale of our shop. There will be fishing gear, toys, gifts, humerous birthday cards and much more - see you tomorrow. 18.01.2022 Yes - we have an unconditional contract!! The plan for the next couple of weeks is to sell as much stock as we can - so most of the stock is now half marked price - which means it is all below cost. Exceptions are "Killecrankie diamonds", Swap & Go gas, Sodastream gas, craypots and photos. We will open all weekdays 10am - 4pm and Saturdays 10am to 12.30pm for the next couple of weeks. We have someone who is willing to do Sodastream and Swap & Go gas. If anyone is interested in the photo kiosk and passport photos please talk to us. "Klliecrankie diamonds" will become a hobby rather than a job and we will sell them through other outlets and upgrade our website.

17.01.2022 We are having huge problems with Telstra bigpond email. It has been on the blink for a month but now I can't get anything. It tells me I have 35 unread emails but times out when I go to see them. If you want to send an email please use [email protected] or send a message on facebook.

14.01.2022 The first local quartz and granite pieces are finally out of the tumbler. These three are the first ones set and I will be taking them to the Purple Swamphen tomorrow. Only $50.00 each - a great reminder of Flinders Island for someone.

11.01.2022 The closing down sale continues. I have been putting sale price on all the jewellery apart from the "Killiecrankie diamonds". There is 40% off the sale price so there are some amazing bargains in this lot. We are open on Wednesday and Friday 10.00am - 4.00pm.

10.01.2022 I love the blue colour in this "Killiecrankie diamond" polished stone pendant with a leather cord. A great gift for someone!

10.01.2022 The parcel of settings from America went through three countries to get here. I was down to 5 rings left in the display. So far it's back up to 19 now. Great time to buy them for Christmas gifts. We will be at the Lions market on 5th December. We also have some jewellery in The Purple Swamphen and The Flinders Wharf. We also have them at home - it is advisable to call before you come as we are not always available.

09.01.2022 I have spent the last few days setting "Killiecrankie diamonds" to build up stock for summer. So far I have completed and labelled rings. Still working on the studs and pendants.

09.01.2022 I have spent a wet and windy Saturday making sets with drop earrings and matching pendant. Each set is $300.00. There are more designs to come. Some of them will be going into the Purple Swamphen during the week. The others will be on display at our house. 06.01.2022 The shop is starting to look like "Mother Hubbard's cupboard". We will be open 10.00am - 12.30pm Saturday and 10.00am - 4.00pm on Monday. We will be stocktaking and packing up the remaining stock on Tuesday and cleaning on Wednesday and Thursday, so you don't have long to get in and snag a bargain! There is still 50% of the marked price of stock - with some exclusions.

03.01.2022 I have been experimenting with different ways of using some of my polished "Killiecrankie diamonds". 2 pairs of earrings, a pendant and a brooch. When the glue is set and I put the hooks and chains on them in a few days they will be for sale.

03.01.2022 Following on from the jewellery we posted on Friday - but wait - there's more! But no steak knives though. All the jewellery has 40% of the marked price which is already at a sale price. A good time to stock up on gifts!

01.01.2022 Our shop at 9 Lagoon Road is now sold and closed, so we are now really, semi-retired. Congratulations to new owner Carol Cox - may you always have great tenants. We would like to say thank you to all our customers, both local and visitor for your support. The loyal customer base (you know who you are) who buy local every chance they get have kept us loving our job. An absolutely HUGE thank you to Lions Alison Johnson and Carole Crute for their invaluable assistance with the... final clean-up. We couldn’t have done it without you! The Swap & Go gas and Sodastream gas are now available at Whitemark Post Office. Mel at Purple Swamphen will be doing the photo printing kiosk and passport photos - please be patient with her while she coms to grips with the printer. The second-hand books have been handed over to Flinders Island Lions Club and will be available at markets. We will continue to find and sell Killiecrankie diamonds and Alan will keep making full size and miniature craypots and sell them through local outlets.
