24.01.2022 Kinder Program 2021. This Program offers a fun, quality learning, caring and nurturing time for your children. It is run by two very experienced child care educators Rose and Jo. There is a five hour day or a three hour day depending on your needs. In this year your children will learn through play by using a variety of experiences, songs, rhymes, planting, growing, cooking, social skills and so much more. Do not miss this wonderful opportunity. Call 57 822319 Madeleine for further information or to enroll

24.01.2022 Hi Everyone just thought I would update you all. We returned to childcare this term with great excitement by the children and their parents. Unfortunately we have capped it on numbers to make sure we are undertaking the correct procedures during this pandemic. I am so hoping we re all together again in Term 3. Mary our yoga teacher has been delivering yoga on the Zoom and that has been terrific. Personally I have been making a "Corona" quilt to mark this time in my life. The... most interesting thing about this is I don't have a clue how to sew. I have been on the facetime with my sister learning as she is a whiz at quilts. I have also worked out how to make bread. I would love to know what you have all been doing during this time. Please post and let me know.

23.01.2022 Merry Christmas and thank you to everyone who was part of our Community Centre family this year. We will be back on deck late January 2021. Be safe and be kind and look after each other.

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, hope life is treating you OK at the moment. Just thought I would share this post from Puckapunyal neighbourhood house. Keep well.stay positive and be kind to each other, even the annoying person at the supermarket that walks out of the entry door

14.01.2022 So touched by this poem by Brother Richard (Hendrick) from Ireland: Lockdown Yes there is fear. Yes there is isolation. Yes there is panic buying.... Yes there is sickness. Yes there is even death. But, They say that in Wuhan after so many years of noise You can hear the birds again. They say that after just a few weeks of quiet The sky is no longer thick with fumes But blue and grey and clear. They say that in the streets of Assisi People are singing to each other across the empty squares, keeping their windows open so that those who are alone may hear the sounds of family around them. They say that a hotel in the West of Ireland Is offering free meals and delivery to the housebound. Today a young woman I know is busy spreading fliers with her number through the neighbourhood So that the elders may have someone to call on. Today Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and Temples are preparing to welcome and shelter the homeless, the sick, the weary All over the world people are slowing down and reflecting All over the world people are looking at their neighbours in a new way All over the world people are waking up to a new reality To how big we really are. To how little control we really have. To what really matters. To Love. So we pray and we remember that Yes there is fear. But there does not have to be hate. Yes there is isolation. But there does not have to be loneliness. Yes there is panic buying. But there does not have to be meanness. Yes there is sickness. But there does not have to be disease of the soul Yes there is even death. But there can always be a rebirth of love. Wake to the choices you make as to how to live now. Today, breathe. Listen, behind the factory noises of your panic The birds are singing again The sky is clearing, Spring is coming, And we are always encompassed by Love. Open the windows of your soul And though you may not be able to touch across the empty square, Sing. Beautiful words to reflect upon
