19.01.2022 Vale to an Australian political legend, Andrew Sharp Peacock. Over a long career of public service, Andrew served as: Leader of the Liberal Party Leader of ...the Opposition Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Army and other portfolios Australian Ambassador to the USA Federal Member for Kooyong. But most of all, Andrew will be remembered as: A great Victorian. A great Australian. A great Liberal. A great father, grandfather and friend to so many. Thank you for your outstanding service. Our nation is a far better place for it. My thoughts and prayers are with Andrew’s close family at this difficult time, especially his wife Penne and my friend Ann and her boys. (This photo was taken in 1992 at the Alfred Deakin Lecture; we were both a lot younger then!)

08.01.2022 Today’s The Age newspaper has exposed another secret deal between the Andrews Labor Government and the Chinese Communist Government separate to the Belt and R...oad agreement. It’s a deal Andrews and Labor kept secret from the Victorian community prior to the last election, and are still reluctant to tell us all the details. Our position is clear: the Liberal Nationals will withdraw Victoria from Labor’s controversial Belt and Road agreement. Victoria’s interests must come first. A dud deal that compromises jobs, security and sovereignty is not a deal that I can ever support. 08.01.2022 Great to visit the East Malvern Men’s Shed in my electorate and catch up with some of the 44 active members. Men’s Sheds are an important part of the community where men can get together, learn new skills and enjoy a cuppa and a yarn. They deserve our support!
