24.01.2022 You may have noticed some changes on our account in the past few days. We are updating everything to reflect our farm without chickens and eggs. Since we sold that side of the business in April, we've been enjoying more time together. Iso is not so bad when you live on a farm! We've also had plenty of time to think about what's next and what's important to us. While we're working on it, I've started to update our website, and we will start using social media more again to show what we're up too. Plenty of people have been telling me they're missing Hattie updates. What else would you like to see on here?

22.01.2022 LOCAL PRODUCER SHOUTOUT: when you’re visiting Eldorado in the next few weeks to pick your own cherries from Eldorado Orchards- Fresh Cherries, make sure you also grab some local garlic from El Dorado Garlic and Chilli Co. (details below) and some goats milk and cheese from Tolpuddle Goat Cheese and Farm Foods. Make a day of it! There’s plenty of other great places to visit too - explore, enjoy and make sure you take home some of this great produce!

13.01.2022 It was our annual preg testing day today. All cows were expertly preg tested by our vet Brad from Murray Valley Vet Services and we were really pleased with the results. We also opted to do some blood screening this year. Five cows were selected to track any deficiencies. Humans optimise their health in this manner and cows can benefit from it too. It was interesting to see how the blood is taken from under the tail. It’s just a few seconds, no tourniquets or anything like that. The blood goes into one-way vials for lab testing, just like people as well #animalhealth #optimisinghealthandperformance #ourvetisthebest
