19.01.2022 And that's a wrap on #kilowattcamp2020 Despite a couple of riders finding the tarmac, it was absolutely lovely to get some of our kilowatt friends and family out of Melbourne for a weekend @victorianhighcountry in Bright. Thanks to the @brightbrewery for keeping us fed, and to all the riders for their patience and understanding with the hoops we've had to jump through to get this thing up and running during a once in a lifetime pandemic. 18.01.2022 Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's and Colitis) is a condition that Kilowatt coaches @willowhoward1991 and @mattscottrides are all too familiar with - Will having Ulcerative Colitis diagnosed at 19, while Matt's 4 year old daughter Isabel was diagnosed with UC at 2 years old. .... Will and Matt will be riding the 9:10am, Wednesday 2nd December hour long bunch ride in support of Crohn's and Colitis awareness week, and would love to see as many of our athletes and friends in ...the bunch as possible! 17.01.2022 Just another weekend in metropolitan Melbourne? Not for @ivanacicchelli who yesterday completed a vEVERESTING! 8 weeks ago and after all her goal events were cancelled in 2020, Ivana and coach @willowhoward1991 had a lengthy re-evaluation of how we'd like the year to play out. 3 minutes after the word "Everest" was mentioned - and never one to do anything in half measures - Ivana had dived head first into the idea. Fast forward 8 weeks and Ivana is the 171st woman in the wo...rld to ever vEverest ! (once certified by @hells500). We're very proud!
