24.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who turned up for a drink yesterday, great afternoon and plenty of beers, and laughs had. Special mention to Pete Riggs for turning the Heathmont Bowls into a BYO venue. Big thanks to the bowls club for their hospitality and the genuine 1980's prices.... Special thanks to the sherriff of Heathmont Cameron Browne for providing us all with day passes and for organising the barefoot bowls. Merry Christmas Cheers Wee

14.01.2022 Status update: During the final 1/4 of the Veterans game today Leigh took a bit of a knock which resulted in a trip to Maroondah Hospital. Just found out he's doing ok with full consciousness back. He's got a couple of precautionary test's ahead of him. From all off us we wish him a speedy recovery.

Wednesday 2nd all players will be asked to nominate position and number, and yep we know you all want Number 1 and play ruck rover / forward pocket Five teams have committed to night games against us so far, so If you have commitments sat and sun, excuses are now gone! The Veterans completion is set to start this coming weekend, and we need a commitment from everyone who wants to play or may have thoug...ht about playing a few games here and there. We have the basis of a good side just needing a few more guys to ensure a competitive year. Our aim this year is to play all our home games at night, be it a Friday night or a Saturday following the senior group, following our lead a few other clubs are also keen to turn their home games into night fixtures, this means that we expect to have at least 6 night games this year. So anyone who might have thought or be thinking about playing but are restricted by junior sport get on down YOU CAN DO BOTH! We also need some on field support, we need a runner, boundary & goal umpires, water boys/guys, bbq/bar, loud outer supporters, etc. Need everyone at training at Pinks on Tuesday at 6.30 pm. Show early support and be part of it from the start, it never helps when you sit on the fence wait to see who else commits first....
