15.01.2022 A boxing seminar was held at Turramurra Dojo on Sunday March 21st. The class was held with the goal of introducing Kyokushin students to boxing techniques, footwork and fitness routines. KIMAA remains a proud Kyokushin organisation, but introducing knowledge from other styles opens doors to becoming even more well-rounded martial artists.... At the invitation of Hanshi Howard Lipman, Boxing Coach Mario (a staff member with Knox Karate) led the class. Mario has a long history of boxing and impressed the students. The class - made up of students from Turramurra, Annangrove and Young Dojos, all enjoyed the day with some great techniques being demonstrated by Mario. Thanks to all instructors and students for their participation.

14.01.2022 COMING BACK TO TRAINING Training resumes on Monday. We will be following our COVID-safe practices (including cleaning protocols) and following all NSW Government guidance and laws. We ask all students and parents to observe the following: 1) If you are unwell or have any cold-like symptoms DO NOT COME TO TRAINING until you have taken a COVID test. This is for all students and instructors, without exception.... 2) Due to the 4-square-metre rule returning, class sizes are limited. Please attend the classes you were enrolled in last year. If you would like to change classes, or be reminded which classes you are scheduled for, message this page. 3) We are setting up a NSW Government QR code. We will ask all students (or parent/guardian, in the case of children) to scan the QR code upon arrival. 4) If you need to bring a bag to training to bring gear/other clothes, do so, but do not loiter before and after training. To help with social distancing, the dojo office is strictly for black belts only. We look forward to welcoming you all back to training and starting the year in a strong manner. We will be diligent with everyone’s safety, while also keeping focused on continuing to foster and develop all students’ martial arts skills, fitness and personal growth. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
