24.01.2022 I am currently preparing my lecture on the Rectification of the Birth Time for the Queensland Federation of Australian Astrologers monthly online meeting on Monday 10th August 2020. I will be back to making Astro Info Graphics for this page once I have completed this project. I will also be presenting an online lecture in September to the Western Australian Federation of Australian Astrologers. The topic will be confirmed in coming days.

23.01.2022 The 2021 Degrees of The Transiting Outer Planets. If you have Natal: Luminaries, Personal Planets or Angles (Asc MC) in these degrees in the same Sign or Mode then 2021 will be a year involving the issues of the transiting planet and the planet/s being transited in your chart. Uranus hasn't finished with my Stellium as yet and Saturn is about to begin to go through it by Returning to itself in January.

23.01.2022 I am in the process of transitioning to a new computer with Windows 10. I have been making graphics for this page using a decade old computer and Adobe Illustrator CS3 which will not run on Windows 10. I will now have to subscribe to Adobe so as to keep making Astro Info Graphics to share. I'm looking forward to the using the latest versions of Illustrator, Solar Fire 9 and Microsoft Office. I am also refreshing my workspace as Uranus continues to transit my stellium. Here is a series from my Astrology folder on the Houses & Angles from a Humanistic perspective and how the Houses in the four Quadrants are divided into Angular, Succedent and Cadent Houses. I am looking forward to presenting The Rectification of the Birth Time this coming Sunday for The Western Australian Federation of Australian Astrologers via Zoom.

If you have had a reading from me, then you will be familiar with the concept of The Sunflowers Cycle of Growth & Decay as a metaphor to describe the timeline of our internal unfolding and release of feelings out into the open. 22.01.2022 The BIG 4 Midlife Generational Milestones. When these occur for you: everyone born in your year is pretty much going through them too. This set of transits can take up to a decade to get through so they are very much in the background of our lives (unless making Strong Aspects to Personal Planets|Angles concurrently) as we move from feeling young to feeling like we are entering a new phase of maturity. You will note that the age span for Pluto Square Pluto is large. This is... because Pluto moved quite swiftly through it's own Sign of Scorpio in around 11 years whereas it will take some 30 years to transit through Aries. Therefore current generations will experience this transit much younger than their Great Grandparents did or the upcoming yet to be born generation of Pluto in Aries, who will experience Pluto Square Pluto aligned somewhere just before or after their Second Saturn Return. 21.01.2022 My 21st Century Ephemeris is suffering some wear and tear. I mean why wouldn’t it fall apart in 2020! It’s like it can read itself! I’ve had this copy for nearly 30 years! I’ve jumped onto a few sites and ordered myself a new Ephemeris which is still by Neil F Michelson - 1950 - 2050 - this is the 100 years we work in and it will be good to use one Ephemeris instead of two. There is a digital iPhemeris available in the App Store for those who work digitally. I don’t work that way but it is useful when out and about (when we get out and about again!) and it does have many of the Asteroids. I find the book quicker to flick through to the year and month I’m looking up when preparing charts for consultations.

21.01.2022 The Stellium - This is the Aspect Pattern that I have, where the Conjunction dominates the chart. As my Stellium is five planets, South Node and an Angle, this is very much the case in my own. There is debate out there as to how many planets constitute a Stellium: the consistent answer that you will see is three or four planets in conjunction forms a Stellium. If those planets are all or for the most part: outer planets such as many babies born so far in 2020 - the conclusion... would be four or more planets. If those planets are Luminaries|Personal Planets|Outer planets: combined - the conclusion would be three or more planets.

20.01.2022 I am refreshing my workspace and as you can see this little gem has had some wear and tear! It was a handout when I was a student 30 years ago which we used in the calculation for Progressions: by hand with a scientific calculator. I was born in January so it’s very easy to know which day number of the year I was born in.

19.01.2022 We are at Equinox when the Sun enters 0 Aries - Happy Astro New Year! We begin a new cycle with our Aries friends celebrating their Birthdays. Aries is the leader, the boss, the one who has the excitable ability to motivate and inspire others to action. Aries can be a bit of a "hot head" due to their impatient "want it now" attitude, but as the business owner or boss they are in their element. Even as the humble employee Aries has an independent approach that gets the job d...one. 18.01.2022 The Progressed Moon's period through each Sign is approximately two and a half years. Whilst we can calculate perfect dates for when The Progressed Moon changes Sign our emotional disposition takes a little time to adjust and to even realise that a change has taken place. It operates more like the diffuse shore line on the beach as the waves roll in over the sand. The graphic is a bit misty and grey and not quite as crisp as the eye may enjoy and this has been quite deliberate in the atmosphere of the design.

15.01.2022 The Semi-Sextile and the Quincunx (also called Inconjunct) are considered to be Minor aspects. In regular accepted practice these aspects do hail from the same Aspect Family of 30 degree increments which is called the 12th Harmonic Aspect Set. Accepted practice has always notated the Semi-Sextile as a blue broken line and the quincunx as a solid green line. In this Astro Info Graphic I have changed the Semi-Sextile to match it's cousin/ big sister: the Quincunx with notation as a green broken line. The Quincunx is not as obvious to visually identify in a Natal Chart. In order to see it: look for the opposite point of the planets position: the Quincunx is kicked off to the left side or the right side of the point opposite the planet.

09.01.2022 Donald Trumps Mars Saturn Midpoint is 10/17 Fixed. Transiting Uranus: Hit One = 15 July 2020, Hit Two = 16 September 2020, Hit Three = 24 April 2021. An unexpected brush with death. It does not bode well for either of them.... Saturn is also headed for 10/17 Fixed. Hit One = 20 March 2021, Hit Two = 1 August 2021, Hit 3 = 17 December 2021. If he makes it through Uranus hitting the Mars Saturn Midpoint, he will be challenged again by Saturn: accepting the limits of his mortality or facing it with yet another challenge which brings about conflict as Saturn will form an Opposition to the Mars Saturn Midpoint. The 16th September 2020 is 16 days ago ....

08.01.2022 How do the Aspects operate when facing a Situation X? In the Natal Chart or by Transit Aspects describe the actions or the event, the talent or the conditions: of how we arrive at solutions or not of any Situation X that we may find ourselves in. The Aspects describe how we approach and respond to situations, to other people, to events and to those things on a daily level that are outside of our control. They connect two houses which are the areas of life they play out in and they connect two planets which are: the energies, the issues, the types of events that the dynamic or conditions of the Aspect either pushes to happen or happens seemingly with ease.

04.01.2022 The Yod is the only Grand Aspect Pattern to contain a Minor Aspect: The Quincunx. The Yod has two Quincunxes joined by a single Sextile. If the Quincunx can make it to a Grand Aspect Pattern perhaps its not such a Minor Aspect after all and Ptolemy got it wrong.

02.01.2022 The 8th house is a much maligned and feared house which is unjust and remnant of Traditional Astrology. The 8th House from a Modern Humanistic perspective is about other people’s resources - those being: their body, their money, their possessions and their values. Houses above the horizon are concerned with other people, those below the horizon are about the individual person. You will read that the 8th House is about death and like the Tarot Card of the same name, it is a r...eference to the cycles of regeneration: endings and new beginnings. The cycle of birth death and rebirth is symbolised in Astrology by the 8th House, Pluto and Scorpio. Transformation, transmutation and transcendence are key themes for those with planets in the 8th House. Having several planets tenanting a house makes that area of life strong for a person. The 8th makes for abilities to read trends in the market, it is a house of business, business networking and financing. Strong 8th house people do well in the financial, insurance and banking sectors. Professions and industries where forecasting is part of the job description is an 8th House skill. Business owners work with financial projections, we pay attention to weather reports which are forecasts, the stock exchanges across the world function on the fluctuations of markets and the stockbrokers ability to forecast the bulls and bears in those markets. It’s been said that if you can deal with change you can deal with life, that if you can depend on anything in life, you can depend on it to change. These type of sentiments hail from the 8th House and those with planets in residence will be adept in going through change over their lifetimes. Working in areas that assist others to go through change, to transition from one place in their lives to another place or to assist others during times of tremendous upheaval will often figure with 8th House Planets in a Natal Chart. Transits from or to the Ruling Planet (Planet ruling Sign on 8th House Cusp) of the 8th House will result in significant changes, endings, times of letting go, the incoming or outgoing of funds and a reappraisal of values and beliefs in relation to others.

02.01.2022 The Key Concepts of The Quincunx and The Semi-Sextile. As I continue to feature these two Aspects this week. The ultimate conundrum and puzzle of Astrological Endeavour. "Opposites attract" this is usually the narrative of The Opposition yet we miss that the ultimate Aspects of difference are The Quincunx and Semi-Sextile. Unlike The dynamic Opposition driven by the frustrations of its multiples of 45 degrees, The Quincunx and The Semi Sextile are built upon the conditions t...hey find themselves in: comprising of 30 degrees and its multiple by five = 150. Is it the ease of the 12th Harmonic Aspect Set (30 degree increments: Blue ones) along with the inevitable friction that comes from two very different approaches to the same situations: as to why these particular types of opposites attract. Where the burden held within the Natal Chart of these Aspects becomes something else entirely when we branch into the area of Human Relationships and how this pair of aspects draws partners together who seem so very different to one and other: yet they are drawn to each other as if each holds the key the other doesn't have. I was stirred to think about this after watching a program featuring an Aries and a Pisces who had been together for 47 years and they both said their relationship worked because "opposites attract".
