25.01.2022 Just finished what is the most expensive wallet I have ever attempted. My first ever Shell Cordovan wallet!! Pretty excited to be able to even give it a go, and I am really looking forward to the next one (whenever that might be!). So, here it is, all hand cut, hand sewn and hand finished, featuring lavender kangaroo hide inner and contrasting shell cordovan outer in a stunning navy blue. Available at the Christmas Markets 2020

23.01.2022 Whip up an awesome Christmas! For anyone wondering, I haven’t had much time to spare for plaiting up a decent full kangaroo whip as stock.. BUT, rest assured there will be a few redhide whips available for purchase at the markets, including this little beauty! Measuring in at only 180cm overall, it is the perfect size for youngsters or yard work or just mucking around with your mates out camping! Featuring a 1/2 plaited handle in kangaroo, it is lightweight but tough enough to work or play. See it at the market!

20.01.2022 Everyone has to make the first step at some stage to explore a new technique or style in order to keep learning. So today I struck my first blows on a fully stamped belt. Very time consuming, and I’m nervous about stuffing up the next step stamping the inside, (you wouldn’t believe how actually difficult neat basket weave is!) but hopefully it will all turn out ok.

18.01.2022 Custom order for a braided bracelet done yesterday in 6 strand roo hide with a Rhonda sleeve knot. Such a simple looking little thing, but consider the time that goes into actually working on one... First step is cutting out a thong of lace off the hide, then it needs stretching, trimming down to an even size, bevelling both flesh sides, seasoning with a good leather conditioner measuring and cutting before I even start the braid. Then there are all the finishing steps.... worth every minute of work though

18.01.2022 Hi All!! It’s been quite a while since I added anything new to this page due to FB doing silly things... BUT... I’m back! So, stay tuned for a few updates on what’s been going on, what’s happening right now and what exciting things are in the pipeline!

17.01.2022 Probably took too many photos, but just had to share this little beauty! A few finishing touches and it will be ready to go - presenting ‘Acid Cowboy’.. or ‘Lime & Black Pepper’ if you prefer..haha! Waxy and soft metallic kangaroo hide, hand cut, hand sewn and hand finished. What do you think?!

16.01.2022 Was commissioned to make a saddle holster to fit the YETI drink bottles and came up with this as a first prototype. Can customise with different conchos (bull/bronc rider, campdrafter, stars, hearts etc) and probably even different colour hides. Was pretty happy with the result, as was the client, so will take orders for Christmas until the end of the month. They will fit quad or two wheelers as well, and they’ll even take a bottle of champagne! Might even have a few out at the Christmas Markets if I get time.
