03.01.2022 LAKE ARGYLE HAS STARTED FILLING UP On this mornings tour we noticed the Ord and Bow Rivers had started flowing! These rivers flow into Lake Argyle, and with the lake being the lowest it has been since 1992 it is great to see.... From the map of Lake Argyle you can see where each photo was taken facing south. Normally, Lagoon and Mary Durack Island are little islands in the middle of the Lake. Today they are connected to the mainland from the eastern side! To appreciate the significance of these photos, remember all of this exposed land would usually be at the bottom of the lake.
