11.01.2022 Master Builders has written to Housing Minister Peter Tinley to provide an update on the state of the housing market. In light of the strong take-up of the Building Bonus grant and to ensure the stimulus provides the maximum benefit for the industry and community, Master Builders has advocated for an extension of the timeframe of the Building Bonus grant for a further six months to June 30 next year and replacement of the current construction commencement timeframe with the ability for building contracts signed by December 31 to be for construction on titled land by June 30, 2021.
