Beautifully located on the rolling green banks of Lily Creek Lagoon, Kununurra in the stunning Kimberley region, Kimberleyland is Western Australia’s highest rated Holiday Park north of Perth. Our multi Award Winning Caravan Park is a busy, popular park with over 200 caravan and camping sites, 10 cabins with 3 more currently being bui...lt. The park operates a small but busy, popular café onsite which operates from 6am. During peak season special meal nights (pizza, spuds) are hosted for guests. Live music entertainment draws a crowd of happy campers at sunset. The 2021 Tourist Season is looking extremely busy with the largest number of forward bookings in our 37-year history. The Managers will have Happy Campers make the most of their Kimberley experiences and adventures with caring Kimberley hospitality in our tranquil, postcard perfect waterfront setting. The Managers will need strong people skills; including the ability to be part of and lead a team of staff and excellent customer service skills, a solid work ethic, passion and drive. The Managers must be proficient in hands-on maintenance and repairs including building, machinery and grounds keeping. Sound computers skills are required. The software systems include Newbook and Xero, experience is preferred but similar software experience is highly regarded. The Managers are responsible for the daily operations of the business. The position includes Management Residence including 4-year-old 2-bedroom modern home onsite. Previous experience in a similar role in tourism, hospitality and food & beverage management are highly desirable. Remuneration is a combined salary cash component of $150,000 including superannuation in addition to furnished accommodation and electricity. While Kimberleyland is the only pet-free park in Kununurra, managers are allowed their own personal pet. Start date Flexible from January to March 2021. A three year comittment is preferred.
