10.01.2022 THE KETTLE PROJECT Most people I know use at least 1/2 a litre more water than they need when boiling a kettle. If 2 million Ozzies reduced their the amount of ...water in their kettle by half a litre over a year we would reduce carbon emissions by 110,000 tonnes and save $'s, time and water. I love WIN WIN. Any other ideas out there? See more

07.01.2022 Joe Ross, Bunuba Elder, tells the story of Jandamarra which we share as part of National Reconciliation Week. Our short film describes the historic and cultural...ly significant story of Bunuba bushtracker, Jandamarra told deep in the caves of Tunnel Creek. This haunting story is in keeping with the key theme for Reconciliation this week ‘Don’t Keep History a Mystery: Learn. Share. Grow.’ Jandamarra was a revered warrior who led the resistance against European colonisation in the Kimberley Region. He organised the first attack that used guns against British invasion in 1894. He was killed in Tunnel creek by police in 1897, his head was cut off as a trophy and sent to England. The Bunuba people still haven't found the skull, but they think they are close to getting it back. This short film was produced as a Fancy Films pro bono project as part of our ongoing commitment to sharing stories from Indigenous Communities.
