13.01.2022 Almost five months with this little studio assistant and I think I’ll keep her around - not very helpful with sewing but excellent company and fab taste in wedding dresses

13.01.2022 The situation surrounding Coronavirus is changing rapidly, and many couples are currently facing the tough decision to postpone their wedding or to continue on as planned. As an Australian designer who doesn't rely on large shopping centre hours, it is still business as usual for me and I can assure you there are no delays for any dresses currently in production. Fabric supplies have been purchased months, or even years in advance by my wholesalers and thankfully there has be...en little to no effect on the availability of any materials. To my current brides, if I have not yet contacted you personally, I will be doing so shortly to reassure you that your dresses are not affected by any of the the latest updates. Have friends who aren't as lucky, or are trying to plan a wedding through all this? Suggest they buy local and support small Australian hand made businesses - this is a difficult time for everyone, but with some careful thinking we can all pull through and have our dream weddings. To ensure the health and safety of my brides, myself, and my family; I will have a sanitisation station available for all visitors to use upon arrival for dress fittings and consultations. I ask that any one feeling under the weather postpone our meeting until they are well again, and I will do the same. Keep calm and marry on! Kimberley xx

12.01.2022 This gorgeous gown was worn last weekend and I am dying to see photos! Congratulations, Sally and Paul www.kimberleywoodwarddesigns.com.au

09.01.2022 | MEL + CAM | Living in rural NSW, Mel found it difficult finding her dream dress with the limited options available. Luckily, she fell in love with one of my designs during one of my Tamworth visits and locked it in on the spot! Mel’s stunning dress featured a perfectly tailored silk bodice with hand appliquéd French lace and a full skirt of the softest bridal tulle you've ever seen.... 06.01.2022 Along with much of the nation, tomorrow brings an end to my Christmas and New Year break. This break was far from relaxing and there was little to celebrate, as each day was spent feeling an overwhelming sense of sadness when I think about our beautiful country. It is, quite simply; sad. Australia is burning, and she is hurting. 15 million acres of land have been lost, 500 million animals have perished, the human death toll is rising each day, and innumerable homes have bee...n lost. It hurts to think about the future of our beautiful country and planet, and what sort of home we are creating for our children. Australia deserves so much more than the leadership she currently has, and so much more support than they are providing. To anyone affected by the fires; I am so incredibly heartbroken for you. To our brave soldiers at the frontlines; thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you, like me, are feeling helpless and are in a position to donate - below are some charities and organisations who desperately need your help.
