24.01.2022 I was a Christmas Puppy Farm Mum! Christmas is not the season to be jolly on the puppy farm, instead dogs like me are forced to have puppies. For 6 years I was locked in a barn where I was cold, unloved and frightened. I didn’t get proper food and little to no veterinary care so my puppies were born weak and sick! They were taken away from me when they were far too young, I never saw them again! All this suffering and pain I went through is just so someone can have a puppy as a present at Christmas! Worst still I’ve heard that after a while my puppies weren’t wanted anymore, they were annoying or didn’t fit in with lifestyles, and then they were discarded. 22.01.2022 Update Due to us getting older Kimberly's are changing our boarding now we will only be excepting small dogs as new clients,as big dogs.We are transitioning to a small dog specialist dog boarding. However we will be boarding some bigger dogs but only those who are Doggy day care dogs. So if you are apart of our doggy day care club then they will be allowed & we also have clients with medium to large dogs that use us at least 3 to 4 times a year for holidays they are still mo...re than welcome to board with us. But we want an exclusive dog club where the dogs we board are doggy day care clients or regulars, so used to other dogs & our homely way. We wont have many big overnighters mainly small dogs the medium to large dogs numbers will be cut down to 2 to 5 per night only. This gives larger breeds more play area & more time spent with them as we wont have the bigger numbers. We want to make the dogs have a pleasant experience being familiar with their surroundings this makes it so much more pleasant for a dog boarding anywhere if it is used to & knowing its surroundings the owners, staff the yards the toys the house they get to move around freely and into no unknown areas or people which makes overnight stays much more pleasant for any dog, this is our new mantra Our aim is to recreate one big happy doggy family affair for all our lovables! If you want to join our exclusive dog club & have a medium to large dog enroll them into doggy day care, only needs to be once a week. So sad dont be embarrassed if you need to relinquish your pet dont be rescue orgs do not judge & you are giving your pet the best chance

11.01.2022 We looked after this lovely mans dog for 2 weeks for free whilst he was in quarantine.That was the least we could do, his doing a selfless thing.John entered Tassie on the spirit a couple of months ago he has been raising money & awarness for sun cancer,he called to see if he could board his dog with us.I said absolutely what about the camels but the camels stayed on a farm up north His walking around Australia for his cause what a legend

11.01.2022 Please share COVID SPECIAL Stimulous package $22 doggy day care At Kimberlys we care with many pups & dogs that have been adopted or purchased during lockdown/covid. We dont want to see pups & dogs flooding rescue organizations once owners return to work because the pets are not coping, so we want to help! How is your pup or dog coping any signs... of seperation anxiety such as destroying stuff,barking, howling constantly nervous about you leaving? If so we would like to offer almost 1/2 priced day care for these dogs for 1 or 2 days a week at $22 per day for a month whilst easing their dogs into their new routine,conditions apply dogs need be siutable & some conditions apply Since our normal day cares have been loyal they too will be getting day care at this price for there loyalty.Its our stimulous package for covid 19 dog owners.The special will go from June 1st & finishes on June 30th no public holiday days. A dog walker to break up the dogs day call in visits to feed your baby their midday meal & play we do offer these services too.They will be at normal rates as We need to pay our employee's on the road.Our day care is at the Cambridge facility Home & outside play in a natural setting it is the closest thing to home.We do free pick up & delivery in the Easternshore area certain hours In the future we will be doing free pick up & delivery in the north side of the bridge Your dogs home away from home!

The wildlife rescue & care system is already seeing the effects of t...he current winds, and things are likely to get worse over the coming days. As you go about your business please keep an eye out for chicks blown from nests, nest blown from trees and joeys (possums etc) who have been dislodged. If we can get to these little souls before the predators or elements do, we have a chance of saving them. If you find an animal or nest please call Bonorong Wildlife Rescue on 0447264625.
