22.01.2022 Thanks to the beautiful @surkitt_j for delivering a fresh bunch of daffodils in support of @cancervic and #daffodilday this August. . Funding for cancer research and professional support services via the #cancercouncil is so vital and COVID has really impacted fundraising. . Brighten up someone’s day by buying a bunch of daffodils, donating one online, hosting a fundraising event or simply create a yellow post on insta on the 28th August to support the cause

12.01.2022 Thanks for the shout out Annalisa Woolridge!! It was so lovely having you in class and I’m loving how I can stay social and present with my clients on the platform during this time.!!
12.01.2022 . Birthday Week Complete. . And what a week it’s been!! Back in iso in Melbs, soft launch of my online program (I’ve been waiting 7 years for this!) and I turned 33!. .... Yep, it’s a pretty weird time, but one hour before restrictions were announced in Vic I was really upset with myself!! I was thinking.. I’ll never launch my online videos. like it was a waste of time. what a waste of money I’ve spent on a platform I’ll never use. was this a stupid dream I’ve had for 7 years that was absolutely worthless?. . Well... when the restrictions were announced an hour later, and I had to close my studio down the next day, I decided to launch the program even though it wasn’t ready... and guess what... . IT’S BEEN AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!. . I can’t believe the support my community has delivered, and the amount of joy I receive from going online and building this platform. I’m definitely making the most of Lockdown 2.0 this time. I’m determined not to let myself down like that again! Onward and upward!. . Is there a project you are working on for this lockdown? Now is the time!! See more
07.01.2022 Create as many shapes with your body as you can. Nothing is too weird. In fact, explore, embrace and have fun with weird movement... you never know when your body will require that repertoire in day to day life. It could just save you from a trip, a stumble, or help you out of the recycling bin that you may fall into (yep I did this yesterday)... happy Sunday everybody

05.01.2022 . WISHING we could be back here!!.. . It was now almost 3 years ago that I walked to Mt Everest base camp with this guy!. .... Feeling total travel nostalgia with this lockdown. Every meditation I do (which is happening almost daily at the moment), I go back to the mountains in Nepal. I can still smell the fresh air, feel the breeze on my face, see soaring griffin in the sky, hear the bells of the yak and sense the deep spiritual energy of the people and the gigantic mountains. . Nature is calling!! And if I can’t go there in person, for now, my meditations and memories will suffice See more
01.01.2022 BACK TO BASICS. 12 days post laparoscopy and I had my first dedicated Pilates session in studio by myself (of course, #melbournelockdown). . It was a big surgery with endo, polyps and the R ovarian cyst removed. It required 3 incisions through the abdominals via keyhole surgery for the clean out, and a belly full of carbon dioxide. I haven’t been able to use my abs for 2 weeks and the gas really affects the diaphragm!!. .... So this is me attempting table tops. I can’t quite do them just yet 12 days on. I can get there if I lead with my R leg and take the load off with my L. However, a lot of the work was done on my R side in surgery. I’ve noticed poor strength in the core and hip flexor on the side so it’s no surprise I couldn’t properly stabilize to lift that R leg as the trail leg. . Doing this basic femur arc exercise told me sooooooo much about my body and where it is at right now. I could easily pop the leg up or use momentum, but by doing that, I’d be missing the whole point. The process of lifting that trail leg up is a journey. And it is the journey that tells the story, not the end posture. . The same can be said for the other exercises I tried- it’s not about getting back to where I was, it’s about meeting my body where it is right now and nourishing it with the movement it requires for healing and for growth . **video sped up x8
