However this is a message that only your parish priest can give as not only a son to his father, but one who was here in Adelaide and was not present in his hour of need. Whilst I have remained close to each and every one of you these last two years, and have intimately witnessed to all whom have had their loved ones buried, I have always given you the very hope of our eternal... souls, of which Our Lord ascribed as the immortal part of each and every one of us. Today as I have been informed of my father's death, it is merely a death of his body, not of his soul. I reiterate this to you so you who have lost a loved one may stay firm in God's true promise and believe. As difficult as it is for me in my own humanity to deal with, if nothing else this now clarifies to me the personal grief you whom have lost the most nearest and dearest to you have felt Pray for me as I pray for you.
