25.01.2022 We have had a great year, the children have done so many exciting activities that have been great learning experiences. The friendships that have developed and the individual growth has been amazing to be part of. I would like to wish all my families and followers a very Merry Christmas and wonderful New Year. 22.01.2022 Please read and be aware of these symptoms. I will be doing everything possible to keep my care environment clean and sanitised for my little cherubs. I will be remaining open for care until the department say otherwise, so please make sure to do your part in helping me remain open by keeping your child home if they are showing any symptoms.... I understand it is a very crazy time for everyone and we are all feeling the effects in one way or another. I ask that all of my families please use the hand sanitiser placed at my front sign in table once arriving at care to help minimize the spread of any germs. Also I please ask that children come dressed in appropriate clothing and have hats and spare clothes for outside time as we will be extending our outside play in the fresh air as much as possible

17.01.2022 Today at Kim's Family Day Care we are celebrating Dr Seuss Day. The 2nd of March is a celebration of his life and the work he achieved. We will spend the day colouring pictures and reading as many books as we can. We may even extend it to be a week long activity so we can really get into the spirit of things.

17.01.2022 This week the children have been involved in some fun learning experience. We have been focusing on colour recognition, babies from 4 months old can tell the difference between colours. Colour recognition is an important skill to teach or little ones as it can help the child develop descriptive language skills and some very useful visual differences like the red and blue on a tap, traffic lights and many others. LO 4.1 + 4.2

09.01.2022 I would like to introduce the littlest member to Kim's Family Day Care, baby Justin Alexander. He is perfect and Bradley is one very smitten big brother

09.01.2022 What a week!!! We had a jam packed week full of so many activities. We celebrated a birthday of a special little girl who turned 2, of course we celebrated with a choc banana cake. We had a morning dedicated to finger painting and harvesting our freshly grown passionfruit. We also have an exciting new edition at Kim's Family Day Care, we have a pirate ship themed sand pit, thank you to my husband!!! Photos of it will come this week.

07.01.2022 Today the children and I enjoyed our morning at the park, the kids where able to run free and enjoy the fresh air as well as further developing their gross motor skills. We had morning tea under the shade of a tree and looked at the birds fly by. LO 1.2

06.01.2022 Kim's Family Day Care would like to introduce our newest member to the family. We are super happy and look forward to all the outings we will be able to go on upon my return from maternity leave
